For those English speaking readers and friends of mine, it seems that it is the very right time to give you some vision and explanations of what is really happening - and it’s not about Ukraine, Trump or even CO2, it’s much more life threatening and dangerous.
NATO has officially rejected Russian proposal to establish a moratorium on the deployment of mid and short range missiles in Europe.
That will certainly and directly affect security in Europe - both regionally and globally (as we guess who’s interests are dominative).
And now there is no way to blame Russia for that. Our sincere intention was to deescalate the continent as we were worried with US missile systems deployed close to our boarder. Russia was told that America’s withdrawal from the INF treaty had nothing to do with our security and US had no plans to deploy these types of missiles in Europe. And our moratorium proposal was very, very natural and transperent - ok, let’s put it on paper, let’s make it official.There was no other reason to reject it rather than US and NATO really do have those intentions: at least to keep the option to threaten our nation with those types of missiles, at maximum - to build a very achievable platform ready for a strike.
Why this is not a kind of an exaggeration for us - mid and short range missiles based in Europe are the first-strike ones with the flying time of 5-10 minutes - critically not enough for an adequate dessision making and responsible reaction.
Previously we already had promises that NATO would never go eastwards after the reunification of West and East Germany - but is was oral, not written. Later we had a NATO-Russia Founding Act promising that NATO would not deploy permanent forces on new NATO members’ territory - and now we have bases opening here and there in Poland, Baltics etc. Did we ever had an option to rely upon any promises - so we needed that formal moratorium. And we were rejected.
So the only thing we are left to do is to deploy same types aimed at European launch sites and centers.
We really wish we never had that necessity to react this way. And from now on we are not the ones to be blamed for what’s coming.
Here are the risks - ok, lets say not the direct ones of an instant global nuclear war, but of an irresponsible behavior and or even accidents - that may bring the world literally to an end.
We are really worried by those sick ideas of a nuclear war that might be won under some circumstances, that we hear from Washigton think tanks, close to the Army circles. We are very much worried that the very destiny of Europe is taken hostage by irresponsible and sick politicians, some of those are even Europeans, playing someone’s games - and the public opinion is being efficiently switched from this very threat to some other subjects, even those important, with the help of public activists, media and corporations.
Hey, Europeans, you’re really missing the most major and pivotal thing - we are already one foot on that road to hell and we might not have any crossroads ahead.
Nevertheless I’m calling upon sane people in Europe - why don’t you ask your governments what are the plans, how do they plan to survive the global conflict? Why are they preoccupied with whatever else but preventing the conflict? Why are they ready to risk your households and lives because of someones sick ideas of a world dominance?
I wonder if there are any popular public figures in Europe - writers, actors, politicians (even), musicians etc. that see the same threats that I do.
I’m truly convinced that we are to discuss the threats arising.
I wish I had any anti-war partners in Europe - but there are none.
