This is an appeal for people to attend the funeral of Reginald Tegg, he recently passed away aged 101yrs old, Reginald served in the Royal engineers during WWll and was awarded the Legion d'Honneur for his part in D-Day.

The funeral is on Tuesday 15th October at Porchester crematorium, Upper Cornaway lane, Porchester, Hants, PO16 8NE at 11:15am with the wake at the seagull pub at 12:30pm.

If you are free and able to attend, please do so and create a massive turn out for this hero.

She was out shopping for 92 yr old Mum when the device in a laundry van packed with over 1,100 5-6 inch nails exploded. Inquest heard bombers would have seen civilians when detonating.
