He created a short film criticising the treatment of women in Islam, Mohammed bouyeri also injured some bystanders and left a note containing death threats to Ayaan Hirsi Ali who helped with the film, she went into hiding, the note also threatened Western countries and Jews, and referred to the ideologies of the Egyptian organization Takfir wal-Hijra.
