Mr Mayonnaise the Cat- Mayo is an adorable ragdoll cat owned by Josette Gu a Chinese student living in Australia

The cat was taken to a vets who thought he was run over by a car but couldn’t find any broken bones.

He was then referred to a hospital but was now in a state of paralysis and required intensive care. The hospital is charging the owners $9000 a day for the treatment.

This left the student owing over $70,000 in vet bills and without any money to pay it off. The vets wanted to put the cat down as the bill was too high to be paid off.

Josette launched a go fund me but after 7 days it hadn’t even reached 30% of what was required.

A crypto community came together and launched a meme coin to try and pay for Mayos vet bills. They called the meme coin $MAYO. Within just a few hours the meme coin had gone viral and the tokens held by the developer were enough to cover Mayos bills

The Mayo developer sold all his tokens at for 335 solana ($80k) and has asked Mayos owner for a solana address so that he can donate the money to pay off all of Mayos vet bills.
