Before July 7, 2023, my life was nothing like it is now.

I was 15 just a kid with no clear path. Every day felt the same. I woke up, scrolled through my phone, wasted time, and went to sleep feeling empty.
I didn’t know what I wanted, or even who I wanted to be.
My habits were bad, my mindset was worse. I didn’t care about school, I didn’t chase goals I was just moving through life with no direction.
I was always joking around, doing boring things, and wasting time on useless stuff. I even fell into some bad habits including betting just to escape from reality for a bit.

Then came July 7, 2023 the day everything changed.

My school results came out, and they were terrible. I looked at myself and asked:
“Where am I going?”
The answer hit me hard I didn’t know.
That day, I promised myself to change something… anything.
That’s when I came across something called cryptocurrency. I had heard about it before, but never really understood it it always felt like a scam.
But this time… something was different. I decided to start from zero.
And that decision that one moment started a whole new chapter of my life.

To be continued...

Part 2
The Start of Change

After that day, I made a promise to myself: no more wasting time.
I started learning about cryptocurrency watching videos, reading blogs, trying to understand this new digital world.
I got into airdrops, thinking I could make something from nothing. I joined platforms, filled forms, and waited for “free crypto.” Then I started trading on demo apps with zero knowledge, hoping luck would do the work 😅.
After trying all that, nothing worked. It was rough I was doing everything blindly.
I even downloaded over 50 different apps that promised money or crypto for playing games or completing small tasks. I watched more than 100 videos about them.
Every single one turned out fake. I earned nothing zero.
That’s when I realized... there’s no shortcut.
Then one day, I saw a YouTube video by Yonas Moh. I clicked it without expecting much, but that video hit different.
It opened my eyes to something new digital marketing. I got curious again, this time about how people actually make money online in real ways.
I started learning about social media marketing, content creation, and online business.
It wasn’t easy, but for the first time, I felt like I was getting closer to understanding the digital world not just chasing it.
And that curiosity… was about to lead me to something even bigger.

Google just announced a new AI model that can generate entire web apps from simple text denoscriptions. The future of development isn’t about replacing developers it’s about supercharging them . AI tools are evolving faster than ever, but creativity, logic, and human problem solving will always matter most.
What do you think will AI make developers faster, or replace some of them?
Drop your thoughts in the comments I’d love to hear your take.

Dangerous Curiosity

I spent about 3–4 months chasing every quick win airdrops, fake apps, demo trading, and endless videos. I wanted freedom fast.
At one point I got pulled toward hacking. I thought, if I could hack something and get money, I wouldn’t have to fight so hard. I watched hacker videos, tried to act tough, and even searched both legal and illegal ways to “make it.”
But two things hit me hard. First I didn’t want to hurt people. Second I realized I didn’t actually want a life built on fear. Running after scams or doing something illegal would only avoid the real work I needed to do: learning and building for real.
So I stopped chasing that path. Not just because it was wrong, but because it wasn’t the life I wanted. I’d rather struggle, learn, and grow than take a shortcut that ruins everything.
That moment was a turning point. I felt more serious, focused, and ready to put in the real work.

He’s Right…

I saw this post on LinkedIn today, and honestly it hit hard.

We’re not failing because we’re not capable.
We’re failing because we’ve become too distracted by social media, endless scrolling, and quick dopamine. We say we “don’t have time,” but we spend hours watching others live their dreams instead of building ours.
If you really want it you’ll make time for it.

Part 4
My First Try at Code

On Nov 8, 2023, I was watching YouTube and found a video by Mike Etubers about software development. He said it’s an in‑demand, high‑paying skill — and something clicked. I’d always been curious about who builds websites and apps. I thought only people with computer science degrees or software engineers could do it. Then he mentioned that he learned HTML back in grade 5. That hit me if he could learn it at such a young age, I could start learning it now too. That thought gave me a rush of excitement. For the first time, I felt real hope that I could actually build something. I dropped everything crypto, hacking ideas, SMMA, and the fake quick wins — and started searching for videos about software development. I wanted to actually build something.
I followed a tutorial and watched someone write a simple HTML page. After the video ended, I closed it and tried to write the same page by myself.

And nothing worked.

My screen was empty, my brain blank. I couldn’t remember the tags, the structure I felt lost. I tried, failed, and felt crushed. I gave up after that first attempt. It was a small defeat, but it mattered because even though I stopped that day, something in me had changed. The desire to learn was there. I just hadn’t found the right way to start yet.
