Part 7
Joining Debbal Summer Bootcamp
I joined a community called Debbal for their summer bootcamp —it lasted 2 months, and it was amazing. For the first time, I laid down my foundation in coding. We started with the basics of Python, and it was perfect for a beginner like me. Unlike my old chaotic routine of jumping from one tutorial to another, this was a structured class. The instructor, Abdurezak was incredible. He didn’t just teach us how to code he taught us how to become real developers. He told us: “You can compete with anyone in the world. You can be better than others. If you try more, learn more, and don’t see programming as a heavy burden see it as something simple and practice every day” That completely changed my perspective. From that moment, I started seeing programming like a fun game or a challenge, not just work. I still hold that principle today I don’t want to overcomplicate it. And yes in the future I’ll tell you about AI — using AI is not shameful it’s a tool to simplify and enhance your workflow. Back to the story the learning process ended with us building simple projects, and I created a voice assistant. At our graduation, I was honored with the award for Best Programmer of the Year among Debbal learners. The award wasn’t a gold medal or anything fancy it was wood but that moment felt incredible. I realized I did it. I can do more than this.
But what came next was even harder.

Part 8
Full Stack Journey Begins
Our instructor always told us to explore more, and I took that advice seriously. Before our graduation, while scrolling YouTube, I saw a video about a scholarship for high school students — you only had to pay a small certification fee. That blew my mind The payment was just 4000 and I didn’t have to waste time figuring out everything alone. The scholarship was from Wabiskills, my favorite bootcamp. Our instructor there Ermiyas, was amazing. He explained everything simply step by step. I thought to myself If he had been my teacher in school I would have been the top student. I applied for the scholarship and got it From that moment I started learning full stack website development. The process wasn’t challenging because of Ermiyas teaching and Abdurezak’s advice they made everything clear and simple. Of course, there were parts I didn’t fully understand like State Management in React but I felt like a pro because I had learned to see programming as simple and logical not scary. Within 6 months, I completed the full stack course. I could build websites, understand the flow, and see how everything connects. But just when I thought it was smooth sailing the more painful moments of real development were about to begin.
