Part 8 Full Stack Journey Begins Our instructor always told us to explore more, and I took that advice seriously. Before our graduation, while scrolling YouTube, I saw a video about a scholarship for high school students — you only had to pay a small certification…
Part 9
The Harsh Reality of Job Hunting

After finishing full-stack development, I thought: Now I’ll get high paying remote jobs easily. I started searching. First, I looked at frontend developer roles. The job noscript said “frontend developer,” but the skills required were insane React, Vue, Node, PHP, Laravel, MongoDB… and more. Plus, they wanted 2+ years of experience.
I checked backend jobs same story. Tons of skills required, plus real-world experience. It hit me hard. All those nights without sleep, all the effort I put in… and now I was facing empty results. I felt broken. I stopped coding for a few days, unsure if all my hard work meant anything. But then… something happened that changed everything.

When you set a task with a specific amount of work, honor that limit. Do exactly what you planned, nothing extra.

Even when you feel super motivated, resist the urge to go beyond the plan. That rush won’t last, but the habit will.

Doing more today often leads to doing less tomorrow. You burn through excitement, lose momentum, and end up restarting the same cycle over and over. New plan, new hype, same disappointment.

So keep it simple:

⚡️Define your goals

⚡️Create a realistic routine

⚡️Stick to it consistently

For example: reading just 2 pages every day for a year gives you 730 pages finished and a reading habit that builds naturally.
But planning 10 pages a day, jumping to 15 or 20 when you're inspired, then dropping to 5 or none when motivation fades… usually ends with quitting before the month is even over.

Choose consistency, not intensity.

Almost there my project is coming to the finish line. Now going to sleep, will be back tomorrow.

Yesterday I finished the backend, and now I’m moving on to the frontend features. Everything is coming together smoothly, and I’ll be shipping one more backend feature today.

Yesterday I finished the order feature for both users and admins. Users can now send orders, and admins can see all their order details. But right now I have one big issue I still can’t find an Ethiopian calendar to use for selecting the delivery date 😭. Because of that, I’m building my own custom Ethiopian calendar component. If you know any solution, feel free to suggest it. More updates coming soon.

The first version of my product is now complete.
This is the simplest version, and I’ll keep improving it step by step.
Excited for what comes next
