What is an NFT?
NFT is a unique token that does not have a copy.
NBA Top Shot NFT's are called "moments" (short pieces of NBA games videos).
There is a limited number of each moment (let's say 5000).
Each moment of one specific game will have its own number (in our example from 1 to 5000).
Moments can be Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary.
Based on the moment's rarity and number, sellers set prices differently.

If the queue number is lower than the number of packs, you should stay in the queue and wait for your turn to purchase a pack (btw, it is not necessary to deposit funds in advance).

Why does it make sense to participate in the pack drops?
If you're lucky to get hold of a special number (i.e. 1, 10, 777, 4999), you can sell it at a higher price (usually around 1k$). Firstly, you need to go through the KYC process, though.
If not, then you can leave them in your collection and gather more moments.

Why do you need more moments?
In order to participate in the LEGENDARY pack drops, you already have to have 15 moments.
