Huobi cryptocurrency exchange’s dedicated investment arm, Huobi Ventures, has set up a $10 million fund to invest in early-stage GameFi projects that combine decentralized finance (DeFi) features with gaming.
The fund will provide direct investment to projects that integrate blockchain gaming with DeFi mechanisms. The GameFi business models allow users to earn dividends through features including “play to earn.”

Interactive Brokers Launches Crypto Trading Through Paxos
Interactive Brokers Group has launched digital asset trading through Paxos Trust Company, the online retail brokerage announced Monday.
Customers in the United States can now trade and custody bitcoin, Ethereum, litecoin and bitcoin cash in addition to traditional equities, bonds and exchange-traded funds.
“As financial markets evolve, sophisticated individual and institutional investors are increasingly seeking out allocations to digital currencies as a means of achieving their financial objectives,” said Milan Galik, CEO of Interactive Brokers, in a statement.

🧮A hacker has stolen $12.7m (£9.3m) in bitcoin from crypto transfer platform pNetwork.
pNetwork said in a tweet late on Sunday: "We're sorry to inform the community that an attacker was able to leverage a bug in our codebase and attack pBTC on BSC, stealing 277 BTC (most of its collateral)."
It said that all other "bridges" were not affected, adding: "All other funds in the pNetwork are safe."
Apologising for what had happened, it said the bridges would be reactivated in a matter of hours.
