👮🏻♀️The Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation announced that on Friday it submitted to the government a bill on the regulation of cryptocurrencies:
▪️ proposes to consolidate the definition of digital mining as an activity aimed at obtaining cryptocurrency
▪️ proposes to keep the ban on the use of cryptocurrencies as a means of payment in Russia
▪️ transactions with the purchase or sale of cryptocurrency in Russia will be possible only if the client is identified
▪️ proposes to oblige exchanges to inform citizens about the high risks of investing in cryptocurrencies
▪️ Russians to buy cryptocurrency will have to successfully pass a special test and then they will be able to invest 600 thousand rubles a year, without a test - 50 thousand
▪️ intends to take into account the ideas of the Central Bank on digital currencies in further work on the bill, which do not contradict its approaches
