They also had some other nice things on offer. MCA prototype boards. I do wonder if there is still some in some warehouse somewhere
What is a tube but a miserable pile of glass?

Probing this: it extracts the V and H sync pulses from the composite signal.
So despite what the label says, I think the actual CRT unit is not TTL but just luma, H and V syncs. To make it TTL a different board like this would be required.
Curbside TV on the bench. I thought the PSU was bad, but it was just in standby 😂

It has no way to adjust the aspect ratio. SCART has a control voltage for that, on pin 8.
If it's between 2 and 9V the TV is supposed to switch to 16:9 aspect ratio, 9.5 to 12V signifies 4:3. If you make custom RGB cables for retro consoles the needed voltage often isn't available unless you modify the console itself. Which means you have to manually tell the TV not to use 16:9 every damn time. The problem, this TV doesn't let you. There is no way to set it. Not without the remote anyway. So I installed some override switches
The tube is really bright. This is with brightness all the way down. Unfortunately it got some scuffs on the screen. Case is beat up too. And the convergence isn't too hot either.
