So, I keep folders for every one of my hobbies and I try to keep everything that belongs to that hobby contained within that folder. And that includes specific programs that are outside of my package manager's repositories. Hence I also have a local folder, with a bin folder, that I add to my PATH.
But often I also need the occasional Windows program. For that I use q4wine and I keep the wineprefix and q4wine config folder also contained there. I wrote a little noscript to place/update symlinks in my local user's folders that point to these folders.

Fixed: Philips VS0080/00
A 1084 style monitor branded for the NMS MSX line of computers by Philips. And as a 1084 style it had the typical problem all those monitors will eventually develop: broken power switch. It's a double pole double throw switch where the latching mechanism relies on a piece of plastic that just breaks after 30 or so years. Don't bother with finding exact replacement parts, they are all NOS and will break after a few years. Try to adapt a more robust switch instead.
