It is here. HP1650B logic analyzer.
So sadly, I do not have the cables or probes/pods for it. And you cannot just buy those. Ebay sellers are asking absolute moon prices. The previous owner, Rik, tried to make his own using ribbon cables and little PCBs with termination resistors. But, he says, that didn't work so great. So this is something I gotta look into. Either source the original cables and pods, or make my own.

I recently got this weird thing handed down to me. A ShibaSoku 251P/1 "FM Modulator". Now, FM modulator sounds useful, doesn't it? But it looks like it was specifically designed for use in the mastering process of Laserdiscs. The two audio channel inputs and gain settings suggest this. However, feeding signals into it and looking at its spectrum, there is nothing where the audio channels should be and a peak around 7.65Mhz, which is a bit off from where the video carrier for PAL should be at 7.1Mhz. It also has a "CW" input, which one would assume is to modulate an arbitrary carrier wave. But no dice trying to use that either. Really odd. Maybe it's just broken. Any ideas what to do with it? Any more information on it?
Does anyone want it for its intended purpose? Otherwise it will become a project box.

The newest addition to my ever growing pile of crud: a Philips :YES.
80186 DOS computer that is not PC compatible
It left out the magic smoke. The seller said he taped it shut to keep the special aroma in. I guess we all know what happened.
Hello there
Construction wise this reminds me a lot of the MSX2 I have that was also made by Philips. Even uses the same floppy drives.
