1. 𝗦𝗘𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗚𝗢𝗔𝗟𝗦, 𝗕𝗨𝗧 𝗗𝗢𝗡’𝗧 𝗕𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗨𝗥𝗘𝗗

Rather than spending time on things that don’t make you grow, know yourself and what you want to become. Invest your energy on working to reach your goals but don’t feel pressured and allow yourself to experience failures.

2. 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡 𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗙-𝗥𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘

Growing up, you may have been dependent on your parents, siblings, friends, and other people around you, and they might undeniably made your life easier. But in reality, not everyone can be there for someone forever. Each of us deals with our own battles, and you have to learn how to overcome them alone. It will make you stronger and more prepared to a much difficult trail.

3. 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡 𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗙-𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗟

Learn to control your emotions, actions, and temper. Learn to reflect, evaluate, and analyze the ends before it begins. Never let your emotions overpower your intelligence.

4. 𝗗𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟𝗢𝗣 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗣𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘

Understand that you can never control everything. When you face a loved one’s death, rejection, failure, heartbreak, etc., learn to quickly move forward, and the first step to that is acceptance.

5. 𝗕𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗗, 𝗥𝗘𝗙𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡 𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚

The most common reason for unhappiness is not learning to be contented. Count what you have and work for what you don’t have; complaining won’t make a thing.

6. 𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗧 𝗕𝗘𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗘𝗡𝗩𝗜𝗢𝗨𝗦

Find joy in other people’s success while working on yours. Other people's success will never threaten yours. Other people's blessings will never take away yours.

7. 𝗔𝗩𝗢𝗜𝗗 𝗡𝗘𝗚𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗦

Surround yourself with positive people. Condition your mind with positive thoughts. Engage yourself in a positive environment, and eliminate anything that doesn't contribute a positive effect.

8. 𝗕𝗨𝗜𝗟𝗗 𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗙-𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗙𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘

Accept and love yourself; it is the first step to build confidence. Go out of your comfort zone. You will never know where your confidence will take you.

9. 𝗕𝗘 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡-𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗

Accept constructive criticisms as they will help you grow. Be open to suggestions, opinions, and changes. An open-minded person accepts his mistakes, makes improvements, and therefore is more likely to achieve success.

10. 𝗕𝗘 𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗗

The world might be cruel but when you start sharing kindness, sooner it will become a better place to live. Be kind to yourself and to everyone.

1. Grief belongs to the griever

You have a supporting role, not the central role, in your friend’s grief. Grief is a very personal experience and belongs entirely to the person experiencing it.

2. Stay present and state the truth

❗️You cannot know what the future will be, for yourself or your friend—it may or may not be better later.

You cannot know that your friend’s loved one “finished their work here”, or that they are in a “better place”.

3. Do not try to fix the unfixable

Do not say anything that tries to fix the unfixable, and you will do just fine.

It is an unfathomable relief to have a friend who does not try to take the pain away.

4. This is not about you

Being with someone in pain is not easy. You will have things come up—stresses, questions, anger, fear, guilt. Your feelings will likely be hurt.

🫂It’s important that you be supported while you support your friend.

5. Anticipate, don’t ask

Do not say, “Call me if you need anything,” because your friend will not call.

Instead, make concrete offers: “I will be there at 4:00 p.m. Be reliable.

6. Do the recurring things

You can lessen the burden of “normal” life requirements for your friend.

💞 Your friend in small, ordinary ways—these things are tangible evidence of love.

7. Tackle projects together

Depending on the circumstance, there may be difficult tasks that need tending. Your presence alongside them is powerful and important.

8. Love

♥️Above all, show your love.

Be willing to not have any answers. Listen. Be there. Be present. Be a friend. Be love. Love is the thing that lasts.

9. Loss of Friendships

No matter what the deeper reasons are, the loss of friends you thought would stand by you through thick and thin is an added heartbreak.
The injustice of these second losses makes grief itself that much more difficult.

How to Embrace and Just Be Yourself.

Fears, doubts and insecurities are all around us, outside and inside of us. Sometimes it may even seem easier to "just want to be someone else" as we wrap ourselves up in these negative feelings.

The grass may appear much greener on the other side based on our perceptions and ideas. Which may or may not be slanted in the right direction, based on the past or current experiences we have had. The reality is often the exact opposite and others are more afraid than we are.

What if the person you think has everything going for them looks in the mirror and hates the way they smile, or how large they think their eyes are? What if everyone else in their family has brown eyes and they are made to feel out of place for having blue ones?

If the messages they have heard from family, friends or loved ones has always been negative regarding a certain characteristic or feature, their self-esteem will have taken solid hits from that.

It's comical how others are envied for superficial beauty, wealth or relationships that people would fight to trade places with them because many of them are looking at us and thinking the same thing.

You appear as the smartest person around and they wish they had the same people or conversation skills that you do. That feeling of quiet desperation to "be someone else" results in the lack of confidence, low self-esteem and any hope that we can ever improve our situations in life.

This is a perception and not your reality. Rather than spend your life wringing your hands about who you can't be, or what you don't have in it, concentrate on finding out how to make things better for yourself.

Ask questions and find solutions to how to be a better person and to accept yourself for who you are. You can always learn new skills, ask trusted friends or advisers for areas they think you could improve in and how.

Just because that's the way "you have always been" doesn't mean that's the way you must always remain. Taking steps to self-improvement can open up new doors of experiences and opportunities for you. Then you can, in turn, inspire and motivate others.

Get rid of the regrets in your conversations with yourself and focus on being a first-class citizen in your own mind. Accept yourself for who you are, improve what and where you can and stop constantly comparing yourself to others.

All of us will always be insecure at times but that doesn't have to be a life sentence for being unhappy. Loving ourselves no matter what begins with the act of self-acceptance. Once we achieve that, contentment will follow.

7 Ways To Trade With An Edge:

“If you diversify, control your risk, & go with the trend, it just has to work.” -Larry Hite.

You hear of trading with an edge, but how do you know for sure you have an edge? How do do know that the odds are in your favor, & that the more you trade, the more your account will grow? Are you the casino & not the gambler, or is your winning the result of luck?

1. One edge is in trading entry points in chart patterns that historically play out as a winning trade more times than a losing trade. Even taking entries that play out as bigger winners than losers will give you an edge. The key is to do your homework & know how to manage the trades risk/reward ratio. Each entry from chart patterns is a trade in the path of least resistance. Cups with Handles, candlestick patterns, & triangles are just some patterns.

2. Another edge is in the use of historical price action backtesting. Using software, historical price data, and technical indicators, a trader can see how a system would have done over an extended period of time across multiple markets. Moving averages and breakouts in different time-frames are used to measure the equity curve in a system.  This is the realm of the mechanical system trader. Price history gives the edge. Programming knowledge required.

3. Another edge is to trade a method that has been proven historically as a winning one. The method should have rules on what to buy based on fundamental or technical criteria , when to buy, how much to risk per trade, when to exit at a loss or when to exit to lock in profits. One example of such a method is trend following while the method is very robust it’s more of a long-term trading method looking for the huge wins in either direction, up or down.

4. Technical Analysis applied correctly can give a trader an edge. By trading what the chart is saying with support, resistance, trend lines and volume it will give a trader an edge over someone who enters randomly or based on opinions. The core of technical analysis is quantifying risk levels and profit targets.

5. Experienced discretionary traders can be their own edge through intuition which is developed through market experience and exposure to market behavior and what makes and loses money over many years of trading. Successful discretionary traders are like seasoned athletes who began to just know what to do in different circumstances based on past experience and learning through repetitive action. They are also like professional poker players that can instantly size up the odds of their hand and the possible actions of their competitors.

6. An emotional edge can be gained by traders who make buy and sell signals based on systems and methods instead of fear and greed, they can step in and buy in a bear market when a reversal begins with a new trend upwards with out being clouded by fear and they can allow winners to run in a bull market not selling to soon out of fear of giving back profits. Traders not affected by their ego can sell quickly when they are wrong to avoid taking a bigger loss than is necessary. Much of trading is a mind game and do not underestimate the edge of having the discipline to follow your trading plan instead of your own fear and greed over taking you during market hours.

7. Asymmetric risk edge is really THE edge that produces profits in the long term. The only way to make money in the long term is to have all your winners be bigger than all your losers. This can only happen by cutting losers short & letting winners run or having a very big win percentage. A good rule is to only take trades that can profit $300 for every $100 at risk. Only risk $1,000 if you believe you can make $3,000 on a specific trade. Of course a day trader with a 60% win rate may be able to get by with a $200 profit for a $100 risk if they stay disciplined in cutting losses & a trend follower may have amazing returns with a 30% win rate if wins are 5 to 10 times risk.

📌 10 BEST ACCOUNTING SKILLS

Like few other professions, accounting uniquely allows professionals to be both a numbers person and a people person. While they analyze and report on a wide range of data, accountants also interact with diverse clientele and break down financial information into language that the average person can understand. So, whether you already have a degree in accountancy, you’re currently an accounting major, or you’re actively exploring careers in accounting, it’s important to know the best skills employers are looking for in their accounting employees. Here are our top 10.

How to Become an Accountant
Accounting is an exact field, which means there is little room for error. Not surprising then, employers are looking for technical skills in their accountants to ensure they have the expertise to accurately and ethically manage, analyze, and report on an organization’s or individual’s financial activities. Employers are also looking for soft skills, or the less tangible abilities that help you excel on the job.

Top Skills of an Accountant
While there is a wide range of careers in accounting, such as forensic accountant, financial analyst, personal finance advisor, and actuary, at a minimum, employers will be looking for these technical accounting skills on your resume.

1. Knowledge of Accounting Practices

The accounting major will, no doubt, become familiar with the GAAP, or the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. These principles are designed to standardize accounting practices in companies and industries across the United States. It is also important to have knowledge of the regulatory standards related to corporate and public finances to ensure requirements for financial reporting are met and integrity in the organization’s accounting practices is maintained.

2. Proficiency in Accounting Software

Much of the accountant’s job requires utilizing common spreadsheet software and account reconciliation software. Other types of software with which the general accountant should have expertise include database reporting, financial reporting and analysis, financial statements, compliance, and project management. If you will be preparing taxes, you will need a thorough knowledge of tax software. Even if you are not preparing tax returns, you will likely be providing financial information and preparing documents for those who do. Therefore, having a working knowledge of tax software can help you stand out to a prospective employer.

For upper-level jobs like senior accountants and financial analysts, the ability to navigate Enterprise Resource Planning software (ERP) is a required accounting skill. Organizations use ERP software to manage day-to-day business activities such as supply chain, manufacturing, and operations. Knowledge of business analytics software is another major plus when exploring careers in accounting because it takes raw data and converts it into clear, meaningful information for making educated business decisions.

3. Ability to Prepare Financial Statements

Perhaps considered the bread and butter of the general accountant, financial statements chronicle the organization’s business activities and financial position. The three primary statements you should be able to prepare going into a new job are income statements (profit and loss), cash flow statements (movement of cash assets), and balance sheets (a real-time look at assets, liabilities and equity). These statements give your organization a routine snapshot of its financial health.

4. Knowledge of General Business Practices

A bachelor’s degree in accountancy can be coupled with a concentration in Leadership and Management or followed up with an MBA to gain valuable knowledge of business operations. Taking business courses in conjunction with your accounting major is a smart idea. Why is this helpful with careers in accounting? You will almost certainly be working with employees in other departments and colleagues or clients in other industries.
