5 lessons from book "The Law of Success”

1. Definiteness of Purpose: The first lesson from the book is that success starts with having a clear and definite purpose. Hill emphasizes that a person should have a specific goal in mind and should work towards it with persistence and determination. Without a clear goal, a person is unlikely to achieve success.

2. Self-Confidence: Hill stresses the importance of self-confidence in achieving success. He explains that a person should have faith in their abilities and trust themselves to succeed. Without self-confidence, a person is likely to give up or be easily discouraged when faced with obstacles.

3. Mastermind Alliance: Hill emphasizes the power of collaboration and the importance of surrounding oneself with like-minded people who share a common goal. A Mastermind Alliance is a group of individuals who work together towards a common purpose, and Hill believes that this kind of collaboration can lead to greater success.

4. Applied Faith: Hill believes that faith in oneself, others, and a higher power is crucial for success. Applied faith involves taking action towards one's goals while believing that success is possible. Hill also stresses the importance of persistence in the face of adversity.

5. Personal Initiative: The final lesson from the book is the importance of taking personal initiative. Hill explains that successful people are proactive and take action towards their goals, rather than waiting for opportunities to come to them. He also stresses the importance of taking responsibility for one's actions and decisions.

Post Worth Reading

1. Even if you're so thirsty, don't drink from every cup that is presented to you.
Sometimes, poison is served sweetly.

And the more you make yourself available to people, the more chances they take you for granted. Don't make them realize your worth when you're gone. Make them realize it when you need to. Not to brag, not to be proud but because you really are worthy and you deserve to be treated as such.

2. Be emotionally ready for disagreements.
Maturity is freely expressing your opinions and beliefs, without the insecured feeling of being challenged or attacked. Don't take things personally. Remember, most of your stress comes from the way you respond, not the way life is.

Let people say what they have to say.
Whether to respond to each and everything is your choice.

3. Trust but don't trust too much.
It's great to see the good in people. However, make sure to set your boundaries to protect yourself. The more you seek approval from others, the less you give importance to yourself.

And if you find yourself in toxic relationships over and over again, then my apologies for saying this, but it’s your fault.
You teach people how to treat you.

4. Whatever you think is stopping you from living the life you want has absolutely no power over you. They are just temptations and excuses you put in your head. So the only thing that tries to stop you, is actually YOU.

5. People don't have to believe you, nor convince them to do so. Just believe in yourself and the rest will follow. To influence people, you have to inspire them. But allow them to realize it themselves. Not because you say it. But because they know so.

Ten reasons why you never give up

1. As long as you are alive, anything is possible. The only valid excuse you have to give up is if you are dead. As long as you are alive (and healthy and free) you have the choice to keep trying until you finally succeed.

2. Be realistic. The chance of mastering something the first time you do it is almost non-existent. Everything takes time to learn and you will make mistakes. Learn from them.

3. Be Strong Like Oak

Believe me, you are stronger than you think. 1,2 or even 3 little failures are not enough to stop you from achieving your goals. Your goals are far greater than all of the doubts. Imagine a little oak tree. Did it stop growing every time it was facing harsh winds? NO. So why should you stop? You are alive, aren’t you? So you have no good reason to give up. Period.

Success will never be a big step in the future, success is a small step taken just now.

4. Prove yourself. You don’t want to be known as someone that is weak and gives up. Go out there and prove yourself to the world and to yourself. You CAN and WILL achieve what you set out to do. The only time you fail is when you give up.

5. Believe in your dreams. Don’t sell yourself short. In life there are going to be many people who will try to bring you down and tell you what you want to achieve is not possible.

6. Your family and friends. Let the people you love and who mean the world to you be your inspiration to persist and persevere. Maybe you need to try a different angle, study more or practice more but don’t give up!

7. There are people worse-off. Right now there are many people who are in a worse situation and environment than you are. Are you thinking about giving up running 5 miles a week? Think about the people who are unable to even walk and how much they would give to be able to run 5 miles every day.

8. You deserve to be happy. Don’t ever let anybody tell you otherwise. You deserve to be happy and you deserve to have success. Keep that mindset and never give up until you reach your destination!

9. Inspire others. Be an inspiration to others by refusing to give up. Who knows what someone else can achieve because you never gave up and in turn inspired them not to give up.

10. You are so close. Often when you feel like you want to give up you are so close to making a huge breakthrough. You are just a heartbeat away from success.

10 Lessons From Discipline Is Destiny by Ryan Holiday

1. You always control whether you give your best or not. No one can stop you from that.

You don’t have to end up number one in your class. Or win everything, every time. In fact, not winning is not particularly important.

What does matter is that you gave everything, because anything less is to cheat the gift.

2. To remain oneself in a world that pushes for conformity takes courage. It takes courage as well as temperance to be restrained in a world of excess, where we attack and mock those who don’t indulge in the pleasures we have rationalized and the passions we have excused in ourselves.

3. While we hold ourselves to the highest standards—and hope that our good behavior is contagious—we cannot expect everyone else to be like us. It’s not fair, nor is it possible.

4. Be a strong, inspiring example and let that be enough . . . and even then try to be empathetic.

5. The fire within us can burn bright enough to warm others. The light within us can illuminate the path for others. What we accomplish can make things possible for others.

6. A leader must be selfless, they must sacrifice, they must face the same deprivations as everyone else in the organization. If you can do this, Mattis learned from the writings of General Viscount Slim, “they will follow you to the end of the world.”

7. Don’t beat yourself up. Build yourself up. Make yourself better.

8. Hope is important but it is not a strategy.

9. Retreats, we must remember, are only temporary. They are buying us time until we can take the offensive and courageously attack again in pursuit of our victory.

10. A person who lives below their means has far more latitude than a person who can't.

1. Being productive today isn't about time management, it's about mind management.

2. Time management optimizes the resource of time. Mind management optimizes the resource of creative energy.

3. Not all hours are created equal: If you write for an hour a day, within a year you'll have a book. But you can't instead simply write for 365 hours straight, and get the same result.

4. The First Hour Rule is simply this: Spend the first hour of your day working on your most important project.

5. If you start your day working on the most important thing, there's less of a chance for other things to get in the way.

6. Sometimes your mind is better-suited to think creatively. Sometimes your mind is better-suited to think analytically.

7. The point of time is not to fill as much life as possible into a given unit of time. The point of time is to use time as a guide to living a fulfilling life.

8. A one-hour increase in average daily sleep raises productivity by more than a one-year increase in education.

9. When you randomly switch from one activity to another, your energy leaks...If you're doing that all the time, little of your energy is going toward traction.

10. A Harvard study found that the busier knowledge workers were, the less creative they were; this study found that as workers became more busy , they did less creative thinking activities such as; brainstorming. They reported fewer insights and their work was also rated as less creative by their colleagues .

11. Noise level can also affect your ability to think creatively...studies suggest that a background noise level of about seventy decibels is optimal for idea generation.

12. Things are not difficult to make; what is difficult is putting ourselves in the state of mind to make them.

When people trust one another, they are far more likely to take risks, ask questions, admit mistakes, and offer new ideas than teams with low levels of trust. Intuitively, this should not have come as a surprise. People feel more secure when they trust those around them, allowing them to focus their energy on the tasks rather than continually assessing where they stand with others.

How do you build trust in your organization?

Developing a reputation as someone who is always honest in their actions and communications helps build a genuine relationship with your team and, according to Simon Sinek, creates a circle of safety that allows people to feel psychologically safe to share their mistakes, discomforts or difference of opinions without any fear of victimization or termination. In addition, when people know you care, they will naturally trust you more if they feel like you’re genuinely interested in them.

In today’s team-driven business world, creating a culture based on trust is one of the most critical responsibilities facing leaders in all organizations. While companies may go to great lengths to establish a culture that encourages trust, it falls upon individual leaders to follow through with those intentions and bring that level of trust to their teams, according to Rick Lepsinger.

Your company can have the best strategy, vision, plans, values, or purpose in the world, but if you don’t have a high degree of trust, nothing great can happen.

No matter how terrible the storm that comes, stand. No matter how hard the wind blows, stand. No matter how terrible the things that comes your way, stand.

Sometimes all you need to do to overcome is just to stand.

It may seem like a small action, but it can have a big impact. Sometimes, when you're facing a challenge or obstacle, all you need to do is stand and face it head on.

Standing is a symbol of strength and resilience. It shows that you're not giving up, that you're willing to face whatever comes your way.

When you stand, you're taking control of the situation. You're showing that you're not a victim, but a warrior. You're saying to yourself and to the world, "I can do this, I can go through!"

Others may give up, but not you. Others may stay down, but not you. For every fall, give it another try, for every hit, choose to never quit.

Standing gives you a different perspective. When you stay down, your view of the world is limited. But when you stand, you can see things from a higher vantage point. You can see the bigger picture and gain a better understanding of the situation.

So if you're feeling stuck, if you're facing a difficult situation, just stand. Take a deep breath, gather your strength, and stand!

Remember, sometimes all you have to do is stand. And when you do, you'll discover that you're stronger than you ever imagined.

As long as you are still standing, you've not lost.

Stand, the storm will pass,
Stand, the war will end,
Stand, the sun will shine again,
Stand, for the victory will soon be yours.

Top 12  Lessons learned From  Book:  “12 Rules For Life“

1) Stand up straight with your shoulders back

🟠 The poor and stressed always die first, and in greater
numbers. They are also much more susceptible to non-Infectious diseases. When the aristocracy catches a cold, as it is said, the working class dies of pneumonia.

2) Treat yourself like someone you are responsible for helping

🟠 People are better at properly administering
prenoscription medication to their pets than to
themselves. Consider your future and think, ‘What might my life look like if I were caring for myself properly?

3) Make friends with people who want the best for you.

🟠 Friendship is a reciprocal arrangement, you are not morally obliged to support someone who is making the world a worse place. Quite the opposite, you should choose people who want things to be better, not worse.

4)Compare yourself to who you were yesterday, not to who someone else is today

🟠 You’ve got specific problems. Run your own race and avoid peering in the lane next to you.

5) Don't let your children do anything that makes you dislike them

🟠 Many parents want their children’s friendship above all, and are willing to sacrifice respect to get it. That’s not good.

6) Set your house in order before you criticize the world
🟠 Consider your circumstances, start small, have you taken full advantage of the opportunities presented to you? Start to stop doing something that you know to be wrong.

7) Pursue what is meaningful, not what is expedient

🟠 Follow your impulses and live for the moment. We should delay our gratification in service of what is meaningful. That Means that something may be better attained in the future by giving up something of value in the present.

8) Tell the truth or at least don’t lie

🟠 Those are not merely two different choices. They are different pathways through life.
If you don’t reveal yourself to others, you can’t reveal yourself to yourself.

9) Assume the person you are listening to knows something that you don’t.

🟠 If you believe every person can teach you something, you open yourself up to growth and learning in every encounter with another human being.

10)Be precise in your speech

🟠 Specify the problem, is to admit that it exists, which can be confronting.

11) Don't bother the children when they are
skateboarding

🟠 As you age without maturing, you will become worthless and bitter, but you will never have to take any responsibility, and everything you do that’s wrong will always be someone else’s fault.

12) Pet a cat when you encounter one on the street

🟠 Wonder of being might make up for the ineradicable suffering the accompanies it. Noticing is better than thinking.
You can't improve if you don't know what you're doing wrong.

CONTRARY TO POPULAR BELIEF I DON'T ACTUALLY LIKE READING BUT...

I know how important it is to gather deep insight in order to make better steps in my PERSONAL, PROFESSIONAL and SPIRITUAL Journey through this life

In my life, I have come to understand the importance of the 3 levels of sight

1. PLAINSIGHT = What we see on the surface that TRIGGERS ME

2. INSIGHT = what we seen beneath the surface that GUIDES ME

3. FORESIGHT = What we see ahead that INSPIRES ME

This is where I have come to understand the importance of assimilating knowledge through SPOKEN WORD vs WRITTEN WORD

I personally prefer YouTube Videos, Podcasts, Infographics and Lives but those are delivered by spoken word

As captivating as spoken word is i have come to understand that people EMOTE more than they EXPLAIN when they speak

But when even the same person has to write especially something that must go through an EDITOR and a PUBLISHER they often become more logical and thorough in their writhing which leads to much deeper insights

This is the difference I have personally experienced in READING THE BIBLE vs LISTENING TO A SERMON PREACHED ABOUT THE BIBLE

I have gotten much more insight from the Former than the latter

After a firey sermon i feel so motivated for the week but eventually that wears off once the hardships of life and realities kick in

But when I sit down with a pen and a paper and study the WRITTEN WORD of the bible I obtain deep insights and clarity that helps me navigate the complexities of life. Not as exciting but deeply developmental

In a generation where we love EXCITEMENT and INSTANT EVERYTHING we are often drawn to that which grabs are attention within 15 seconds even 8 seconds

SPOKEN WORDS (+VIDEO) is what grabs us ... We consume a lot of EMOTION but lack the insights.

So i know that if I want to go past MOTIVATED and stay consistent then I must sit down and study WRITTEN and PUBLISHED WORDS

When someone writes about their life experience you get a lot more insightful details which is very applicable

When someone speaks about their life experience you get a lot more emotion that you connect with but cannot use in most cases. Also you can't speak for long because people will eventually lose attention.

technology today has been helpful in that it now has articles that can be read to you in audio format and you can now listen to audio books.

However the only risk with is I have to make sure that my eyes don't wander because they have the power to take my concentration away from consuming developmental, inspiring and insightful content without visual distractions

So i always listen with a pen and pad in front of me.

I know that this reading topic rubs a lot of young people the wrong way because many are now used to the addictive nature of IMAGES, TWEETS and 2 MINUTE REELS which I also enjoy myself

But at the end of the day there is a sugar rush to those things and in the long run they lack substances

However people who read millions of books but apply none of them are equally as bad as those who read nothing because they too are under an illusion.

In addition China the nation we love to speak about emulating READS 3X more books that Americans and most Europeans. They have a deep reading culture

So when you say you want China's developmental results... How do you plan to do that without their reading culture.
