I’ve used Facebook for this because:

- it reaches the most people and there’s a lot of people suffering who could benefit from this

- the Facebook platform is better than telegram/signal for ongoing discussion because of the threaded posts

This group was created for those following CACUK’s class action, so that mutual support and encouragement could be shared while we work through building the case.

The group quickly descended into a link-sharing platform, with a few members being removed because they were propagating fear porn that went against the group’s purpose.

So generally it’s been a positive, helpful space since then, but…

With Telegram moving in the direction it is, we’re being inundated with bots and spammers, causing the group to be dysfunctional.
