Here is how fast Texas is being turned blue, thanks largely to inaction by the GOP (notably, TX has record Republican gains in 2020, still ongoing with South Texas flips... GOP vote stagnation and decline is not present here as with most flips).

The four blue counties are their big margin makers. The shaded counties each year were the ones needed to cancel out the blues. Look at 2020, even with 1.2mm new Trump votes.
