On Sunday (31st), South Korea, the United States and Japan announced joint military exercises focused on anti-aircraft defence off the coast of Hawaii. The exercises will take place between August 1st-14th.

As published by the South Korean news agency Yonhap, citing sources, the biennial exercise Pacific Dragon this year will involve eight warships and two aircraft. The aim of the exercise is to strengthen interoperability between the countries in detecting and tracking enemy ballistic missiles. Australia and Canada will also join the exercises.
