🇿🇦 🐦 Elon Musk tells Twitter staff company may file for bankruptcy: report
Twitter owner Elon Musk told employees on Thursday that he is not sure how much run rate the company has and that bankruptcy is not out of the question, the Managing Editor of tech newsletter Platformer tweeted.
Musk is participating in an all-hands meeting with Twitter employees, a source told Reuters.
Also Thursday, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission said it was watching Twitter with “deep concern” after the social media platform’s top privacy and compliance officers quit, potentially putting it at risk of violating regulatory orders.
The company’s chief security officer Lea Kissner on Thursday in a tweet said that she quit. Chief Privacy Officer Damien Kieran and Chief Compliance Officer Marianne Fogarty have also resigned, according to an internal message seen by Reuters.

More than a century ago on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month peace dawned on the millions of teenagers, young men, fathers, and husbands who had endured and overcame the unfathomable horrors of the great war.
Approximately 11 million military personnel of all sides would lay dead before the end. A number that would have been unimaginable in the years prior. Some would return to their families to be buried among their kin, others permanently residing in the local cemeteries of Western Europe. The most important of all are those who were not recovered, those whose names and deeds will never be known to the living. It is with monuments like the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Arlington National Cemetery and the Unknown Warrior in Westminster Abbey that we remember in collective those who we will never be able to thank by name for their courage and sacrifice.
On this Armistice/Veterans Day pray for the dearly departed, those that paid the greatest price.
