Dmitry Constantinov has confided to a local television post that, while, he is unsure how to proceed regarding the future of the autonomous territory due to an ongoing dispute with the pro-Western government in Chisinau, the congress "shall find a solution including independence if the Gagauzian people decide so".

Picture on the right: the short-lived Gagauzian Republic (1991-1994). It reintegrated peacefully into the autonomous unit.
Impossible for the Russians to supply in case of an armed rebellion. It will be dealt with swiftly by Chisinau no doubt.
Edit#1: An independent Gagauzia that would look like the 1991 Gagauzian Republic, would see Moldova lose its only port and a key exit way for Ukrainian grains while also cutting road transport from the south of Ukraine to Romania.

State Senator Steven Bradford, one of the nine task force members, announced on Tuesday the introduction of an amendment to SB 490 aiming to establish a "Freedmen Affairs Agency."
The agency is a crucial element of the Reparations Task Force's suggestions. If approved, the agency would manage a range of services, including a genealogy office to support potential reparations claimants in proving eligibility, a Freedmen Savings and Trust Bank, business grants, employment training, and housing assistance, and much more.

Our sources told us interesting facts regarding the negotiations between Wagner PMC and Russian government that involve Africa and Wagner's presence there.
Apparently, just the day before the plane, on which PMC's boss Yevgeny Prigozhin allegedly was traveling to Moscow, crashed, an agreement was reached with one of the security agencies of the Russian Federation.
This agreement was made to separate Russian Ministry of Defense and Wagner, so to make them focus on different directions and tasks in the interests of the Russian Federation and make sure they don't overlap each other, in order to prevent another conflict and "mutiny".
Wagner was supposed to partially return to Ukraine and even more intensify its activities on the African continent.
So Russian idea was to increase the presence of the PMC in Africa and, following the idea of separation of tasks between Wagner and the Ministry of Defense, make the group one of the main Russian military actors on the continent.
