🗳 🇺🇸 📊 Update: Zoomers are already voting like Boomers ⚪️ By race. White Zoomers back Trump (R +10), Asians (D +49) are about as Democratic as blacks (D +50). Hispanics are intermediate (D + 17). As usual, whites bloc vote the least. https://circle.tufts.edu/2024…
📊 🇺🇸 🗳 Nate Hochman on X:

🔶️ "These are Trump's best approval numbers ever. But look at the generational breakdown.

Boomers are 50/50. Millennials are +4.

Gen Z is +10.

🔶️ I'll keep saying it: Zoomers are going to be the most right-wing generation in recent memory.

🔶️ In some ways, this is the U.S. catching up with something that's happening across the West. One of the fascinating things about right-wing nationalism in Europe is that it's often more popular with young voters. It wasn't 60-something pensioners who were singing "Auslander Raus.""

⚪️ White Zoomers and late Millennials actually vote republican (although to a lesser degree than their parents and grandparents) but most people talk about how young people vote democrat in a collective sense. 📎 Kelven
📊 🇺🇸 🗳 Gen X raised their zoomers right

🔶️ It's true. Gen X was a remarkably healthy, patriotic generation, wedged between two highly dysfunctional ones. In 1984, Reagan overperformed with 18-24 year olds—the first batch of Gen X voters. The last time the GOP carried that age demo was 1988.

📊 🇺🇸 🗳 18-29 year old men swung *29 points* towards Trump from 2020 to 2024.

📊 🇺🇸 🗳 The old cliché was that conservative families send their kids off to college, and the kids come back as blue-haired communists. Now, the blue-haired communists are sending their kids off to college, and the kids are coming back as fanatical right-wingers:

It never ceases to amaze me how much intellectual work has been ignored over the past century. It's astonishing.

How did it fall to nobody anons on the internet to have to take up this material? How did Haller not get a translation until 2023? Why is most of Moeller van den Bruck only now being issued by us? Why does nobody talk about Savigny? Who is working on Adam Muller? These are not obscure figures in the history of ideas.

The fact that Imperium Press needs to exist at all is a savage indictment of liberalism as intellectually fragile and shallow. We are doing for academia in 2025 what Trump and Musk are doing for the swamp.

This year you are going to see us really ramp up our operations and launch a bunch of new initiatives, some not even related to books. We will destroy your enemies. That's what we're here for.

Thank you for your support—it's what driving the rebirth of our true intellectual heritage. Support us more here:

🇺🇸 Boy Scouts of America name change becomes official in effort to be more ‘inclusive’

🔶️ Nine months after announcing a name change was coming, the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) on Saturday officially changed its name in an attempt to “meet the evolving needs of young people.”

🔶️ The organization adopted the new name, Scouting America, on its 115th anniversary, “marking a pivotal moment in the organization’s journey,” according to a statement released Saturday.

🔶️ The shift comes after a recent policy change in 2018, allowing girls to join the program. The organization began allowing gay youth in 2013 and ended a blanket ban on gay adult leaders in 2015.

🖊 🇺🇸 🏈 President Donald Trump signs a Proclamation declaring February 9th, 2025 as the first ever Gulf of America Day, as Air Force One announces a flyover of Gulf of America en route to Super Bowl LIX.

🔗 Margo Martin
📢 🇺🇸 🖊 Trump: Today, I am very honored to recognize February 9, 2025, as the first ever Gulf of America Day.

🔶️ On January 20, 2025, I signed Executive Order 14172 (“Restoring Names That Honor American Greatness”). Among other actions, that Executive Order required the Secretary of the Interior, acting pursuant to 43 U.S.C. 364 through 364f, to “take all appropriate actions to rename as the ‘Gulf of America’ the U.S. Continental Shelf area bounded on the northeast, north, and northwest by the State of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida and extending to the seaward boundary with Mexico and Cuba in the area formerly named as the Gulf of Mexico.”

🔶️ I took this action in part because, as stated in that Order, “[t]he area formerly known as the Gulf of Mexico has long been an integral asset to our once burgeoning Nation and has remained an indelible part of America.”

🔶️ Today, I am making my first visit to the Gulf of America since its renaming. As my Administration restores American pride in the history of American greatness, it is fitting and appropriate for our great Nation to come together and commemorate this momentous occasion and the renaming of the Gulf of America.

🔶️ NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim February 9, 2025, as Gulf of America Day. I call upon public officials and all the people of the United States to observe this day with appropriate programs, ceremonies, and activities.

🔶️ IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this ninth day of February, in the year of our Lord two thousand twenty-five, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and forty-ninth.

🛢 🇺🇸 🔋 The Gulf of America may contain lithium concentrations that are higher than other parts of the world, which could make it a target for deep-sea mining.

🔶️ So, what’s the actual benefit of a quicker and easier regulatory process for companies that don’t appear to need more leases?

💵 “It’s simple,” said Brett Hartl, the Center for Biological Diversity’s government affairs director. “The companies make more money when they have to spend less time and effort on permits and environmental regulations and mitigation.”

🇺🇸⚠️🇧🇷💸 The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has stated that he is set to announce a 25% tariff package on all steel and aluminum imports into the country. The decision directly impacts Brazil, the second-largest exporter of steel to the U.S., with sales to the country accounting for one-third of Brazilian steel exports. Currently, 48% of Brazilian steel exports and 16% of aluminum exports are directed to the U.S.

🇧🇷 During his first term, the Republican also imposed tariffs of 25% on steel and 10% on aluminum imports. At the time, the Brazil Steel Institute, which represents Brazilian steelmakers, warned that the measure would force companies to halt operations, shut down furnaces, and lay off workers. Trump eventually reversed course after a meeting with then-President Jair Bolsonaro and later granted several trade partners tariff-free quotas, including Canada, Mexico, and Brazil.

🤡 With a more retaliatory stance and a focus on leveraging policies against the global left, it is likely that Donald Trump will not back down this time. Members of the Brazilian government are already wary as they seek measures to prevent disruptions to the country's economic development.
