Update on Joel Davis.

I just got off the phone from Joel's lawyer and he has stated that Joel is being held in conditions that could only be described as human rights abuse. Joel has had no run out, no shower, and multiple times he has not been fed. He is spending 24 hours a day in lock up instead of the usual 23 hours for solitary confinement.

Victoria and NSW Police have charged Joel another 6 times with hurting peoples feelings with a range of offences for a podcast in December 2024.

(The lawyer said something about comments on 'jews having too much power', 'Indians shouldn't be proud of working 100 hour weeks as that makes them slaves', and 'why are we bringing nigger rapists into the country?'. I'll try and get the time stamps so we can clip it so the public can see how the government is completely attacking political communication.)

Joel has not received any mail since being moved (which is pretty typical for at least a week and sometimes up to a month unfortunately), and has been denied books.

The prison is denying him phone calls to his friends and his mother because "he is a National Security Risk and has no rights". The Commissioner still has not allowed him to call his own mother because it would be a risk to National Security...

Joel has asked for people to send in chapters of books in the pdf form in A4 envelopes, specifically Nietzsche and Heidegger. He has also asked for news articles and I think he deserves to hear twitter gossip.

🏴‍☠️ 🚢 📝 So why is it that a 300k tanker with a top speed of about 15 knots has been able to evade the United States? - Sal Mercogliano on X:

1️⃣ The two previous takedowns - Skipper and Centuries - were off the coast of Venezulea where the bulk of the US military force is located.
2️⃣ Bella 1 did not approach the coast of Venezuela and appears to have U-turned in the Atlantic, meaning that the US would have to dispatch ships to pursue.
3️⃣ It is not just a matter of any ship, but to conduct this boarding they would need Coast Guard personnel included since it is a commercial ship and they would need multiple helicopters. Also, it is the North Atlantic in winter...the weather SUCKS!
4️⃣ If they did not have the personnel or helicopters, then they would shift to surveillance and monitoring and follow the ship until more resources can be brought to bear. (Imagine OJ chase but with him in a tractor trailer and being pursued by a single police car).
5️⃣The focus of the military mission is to watch the other tankers in Venezuela and to prevent any further sanctioned ships from entering Venezuela.

Does this make the US military look good? NO

It would help if Sec War Sec Noem, US Navy, Southcom would give a briefing and provide details and rules of engagement beyond the occasional tweet.
