⚡️ 1) The State of South Arabia is an independent state with full sovereignty, with Aden as its capital. Its borders are the internationally recognized borders of the former People’s Democratic Republic of Yemen. South Arabia is part of the Arab and Islamic nation; Arabic is its official language; Islam is the religion of the state; and Islamic Sharia is the principal source of legislation.
2) The political system is founded on the separation of powers within a civil, democratic state. Governance is based on the popular will, the rule of law, justice, and political pluralism, with good governance serving as a fundamental principle for managing state institutions. The people are the ultimate authority in determining the nature of the political system through a general referendum following the transitional period.
3) A transitional period of two years is established to complete legal tasks and build state institutions. The transitional legislative authority may extend this period once, for an equal duration if necessary. This phase aims to prepare the conditions for building a civil, democratic state based on the rule of law, guided by popular will and principles of good governance.
4) The State of South Arabia commits to the Charters of the United Nations and the League of Arab States, fully adheres to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and recognized principles of international law, and affirms its commitment to all previously ratified international treaties and agreements. The state seeks to build international relations based on respect for international charters and laws.
5) The State of South Arabia adopts a free-market economic policy aimed at improving the standard of living of its citizens. Economic policy focuses on utilizing national resources to expand employment opportunities and promote development. Public property belongs to the people and may not be exploited outside its designated purposes, while private property is protected by law and may only be infringed upon in cases defined by law.
6) The State of South Arabia commits to existing investment contracts and international partnerships after review in a manner that serves the supreme interests of the people. The state guarantees and protects all legally acquired rights of individuals and companies regardless of nationality. There shall be no automatic assumption of debts or contracts concluded under previous regimes except following an independent legal review approved by the state, with laws regulating settlement or renegotiation mechanisms to ensure fairness and economic stability.
7) The armed forces and security services are tasked with protecting the state, safeguarding its territorial integrity, and upholding the constitution and the law. The state is the sole authority responsible for establishing armed forces, and the formation of any military or paramilitary groups outside its framework is strictly prohibited. The state is fully committed to combating terrorism and extremism in all their forms, including their sources of financing, and operates under a comprehensive national security strategy in active partnership with regional and international communities to eliminate terrorism at its roots.
8) The state shall protect the family as the fundamental unit of South Arabian society, safeguard motherhood, childhood, adolescents, and youth, and guarantee the full and meaningful participation of South Arabian women in all fields.
9) All citizens are equal before the law in rights and duties without discrimination. The state guarantees political, economic, cultural, and social rights for all citizens, fully adheres to the rights and freedoms enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and recognizes the International Covenants on Civil, Political, Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights as fundamental references for citizenship rights.
