I don’t really get how this works for Russia. Putin calls Trump a ‘partner’ for peace while Trump gets one country after another to stop buying Russian oil and still sanctions Russia. In my book Russia is showing great weakness. I wonder if Putin fears Trump? Otherwise his political conduct doesn’t make any sense. Slowly all Central Asia is slipping away from the Russian sphere and even traditional allies like India are moving into Trump’s court.
