Testimony Tuesday
Well folks God seems to have His way of reminding of us that He has equipped us for spiritual battles. I have to admit I have been feeling a little defeated lately with some things in my personal life. Prayers for my children, my pet, myself seems to be falling on deaf ears. Although, I know God knows what I need or at least He sure hears me, but I can’t shake off this feeling that my prayers are not as effective and I feel like I’m pleading with God instead of wielding the sword He has already given me. Sometimes I wonder if I place my faith in faith, instead of God.
I confess I struggle sometimes with this. I call it flip, flop faith or double-minded faith instead of sure footed faith. One day you’re calling down fire, the next day you can’t find the water to quench the enemies fiery arrows. Sound familiar?
Have any of you felt like your prayers are just bouncing off the heavenly ceiling, wondering if God even heard you?
Praying over and over, begging God?
My prayers were sounding more like sob stories rather than declarations of His Word. I remembered a quote: “God responds to faith, not sob stories.”
Gulp. You’re right Lord. I need a tune up in my prayer life.
I was reminded by God this morning of the following noscripture:
' Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds,
for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.
And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.
But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.
For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;
he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. '
James 1:2-8 ESV
I decided to do a reshare of a post from one our subscribers.
And, I am going to post a video I came across this morning of a testimony of a woman about her brother who survived Hurricane Helene. What amazed me about this testimony was how she prayed for her brother. She was BOLD!
I’ll post it below. Pay attention how she goes before the Lord on behalf of her brother.
It was the reminder I needed to hear, to war against the enemy with faith, perseverance and boldness, declaring His Word over my situation!
I hope you will be blessed by her testimony and the resharing of the following testimony.
Blessings my friends,
—Paula

I've been prayerfully considering for a while now how to share this testimony. The reason I've hesitated, is because it's about an experience that I've not heard much about from others. Yet, it's my experience, so I will share it as it is, and I pray the Lord Jesus will impart understanding and insight to the reader.
Just over a year ago, we packed up almost 23 years of our lives, and moved across the country - from the far west to the far east in Canada.
When I say "packed," I mean, we downsized, sold items, gave many items away, and took what we could fit in our Ford F150 truck with a built up box in the back that my husband and son made. If it didn't fit in the box, it didn't come. We moved solely because we felt the Holy Spirit leading us to do so. We knew no one in Eastern Canada, (other than I apparently have a distant cousin in the east) had no jobs lined up, had no where to live, and about 2 months rent to our name. We put our home up for sale, thinking it would sell, and then we would travel. It didn't sell. Yet, we felt this leading stronger and stronger to move. Finally, we just obeyed: we left everything we knew, and went.
Apparently many Canadians decided to travel that summer, because there were times we could not find a hotel room (that allowed us to bring our dog), so those times we slept in the truck - basically sitting up in the seat, because there wasn't room to lie down - except for our dog who is an akita - we made sure he had room to lie down.😊
We drove for 10 days, taking in a few sights along the way. We arrived in the east, only to discover they there was a housing crisis, and it was near impossible to find a place to rent. We tried to reach out to churches to see if they knew of any place we could rent, but most were inaccessible - only having one service per week on Sunday's, and no way we could find to access someone we could talk with. We waited in one church parking lot because their write-up was so welcoming online, but no one would answer the door; and when someone new came they just went inside and we ended up leaving without being able to speak with anyone. We did meet one Pastor that was kind to us, but he didn't have any options that he knew of.
-2
This was an interesting time. On the outside it looked crazy and like what in the world did we do? In our hearts, we knew we had made the right decision, so we continued to follow that. God put compassion in the heart of an individual that we spoke to about their place for rent via an ad, thus we acquired a place for 6 months. This individual also sent my husband to a company that hired him on the spot.🙏 I felt led to make a profile on a house sitting site, and we were asked to house sit for just the time our rental was up. (All of these have their own miraculous stories attached to them, but let me get back to the topic of God's healing in my life).
I remember getting to the house sit that we would be at for 6 weeks. We didn't know where we were going after that. Our house in the West still hadn't sold, and we're carrying a mortgage and a rental with no way to pay both each month (another miracle that God provided for in unique ways). I remember sitting on the kitchen floor, and I just started sobbing. I felt like something in me just broke. As much as I knew God had led us to where we were, and continued to lead us step by step, walking in this kind of surrender and unknown was something I'd never done to this degree before. For some reason, the not knowing where we would live seemed the hardest thing for me. For me there was a certain comfort in knowing where I'd lay my head at night. Our home in the West sold just as we arrived at the house sit. Wonderful news.❤️ Yet, we still didn't have a home in the East. A crazy time ensued. Lots of looking at homes that weren't suitable, or that we would be overbid and miss out on.
Then God led us to a home that we found out afterward we had bid the same amount as another buyer, but the seller chose us.

We had about a week and a half left of the house sit at this point. We had purchased a home that we couldn't move into for another month. We still did not know where we would go once we finished the house sit. My husband had a co-worker whose family member owned a hotel. He got us a great deal to stay at the hotel for the 3 weeks we needed till we could move into our new home. (His idea ordained by God). God did all this for us. It makes me cry to think of. Our God is so good.
I wish I could say that I floated through all of this gloriously. My heart was learning to trust God. My body seemed to break down. The enemy took advantage of this, and brought UTI's (Urinary Tract Infections) on with a vengeance. I had had UTI's in the past, but not often in the previous 10 years, as I had learned how to keep them away.
I got hit with a horrible UTI when we were at the house sit - just after we started house sitting. I remember pacing and praying in the Spirit for about 8 hours straight, as I could not sit. I heard the Holy Spirit say through me: "it's an attack, it's an attack." At this point, I didn't know what I should do besides rebuke the devil, and tell him to get behind me. I ended up going to a medical clinic, but what was prescribed for me did not help. I discovered D-Mannose. I changed my diet. I drank cranberry juice. I researched and researched. There's a desperation that comes with that kind of pain. It reminded me of intense labour, - the pain just coming from a different place, but not letting up. The discomfort was agonizing. I had to really keep my mind in check, as it really felt like I could lose my mind - it was that bad. I remember talking to my sister on the phone, and she would pray for me. She had also experienced crippling UTI's, so she understood. I started experiencing symptoms that occurred every couple days, and then just daily, even with all the diet alterations, D-mannose, etc. I was desperate.
-4
During this time I had been praying, but was still severely struggling. My husband and son prayed repeatedly for me. Others prayed for me. I would have a bit of relief, and then bam it would happen - again and again.
I came across an old Word of Faith preacher's messages that had been put online. I started listening. I was like a parched person that had just walked across a desert without water that found a well. I drank and drank and drank of the Word of God that I heard through this preacher. I learned about how God sent His Word and healed us. I took paper, and started writing healing noscriptures. Those noscriptures became my bread and water. I spoke them and spoke them until they became part of who I was. I learned valuable things like: when you receive healing, if a symptom comes, it's the enemy trying to see if you'll take the sickness back. It's not an indication that you've "lost" your healing. I gained knowledge that I needed to fight with. I gained arsenal. I finally thew out all the natural things I had been relying on. I decided if Jesus has healed me, as His Word says He has, (1 Peter 2:24) then that's where I'm putting my trust.
I started using the noscriptures as I would use medicine. I would confess the noscriptures much, and whenever I felt any symptom, I would "double up" the dose of the Word of God - what the Bible says about my healed body.
The devil fought hard. I should mention we live in a rural area, so there's no running to the store. There was no plan B. There was only: I believe You have healed me Jesus, and that is what I'm standing on. I had thrown out everything medicinal and natural that I had been relying on.
A moment of truth came. The only way I know how to describe it, is that I got slammed with an incredibly debilitating UTI. I remember standing in the kitchen and screaming because the pain was so bad. I started yelling something along the lines of "Lord, you're all I have. I believe You are my healer. I trust in You. I need You. Help me please. By His stripes I AM HEALED." My husband was standing by me praying. I don't think he knew what to do either.

We were just hanging on to Jesus with everything we had.
All of a sudden the pain/the infection just left. - The symptoms lessened severely, and over about the next hour they completely disappeared.
I don't know how exactly to describe it. It's like putting all your eggs/everything you have in God's basket and discovering that He is exactly who He says He is. His Word is exactly true. His Word works.
Our God is an amazing God, and if we'll trust Him, we will see that He is exactly who the Bible says He is.
I've since come to learn that I need to defend the ground I've taken by continuing to feed on and speak God's truths, but that can be shared another time.
My friends, if you will dare to trust Him, you will see that He can never fail you. To Jesus be all the glory.
Can we just tell Him: I am the one that loves You and trusts You Lord Jesus. Thank You Holy Spirit for leading us into ALL truth. You are wonderful Lord.❤️ Amen.

What Do I Believe?
I believe Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8).
I believe Jesus healed them all. (Matthew 8: 16-17, Matthew 9:35, Acts 10:38).
I believe we're called to walk with signs and wonders following, in which God confirms His Word. (Mark 16:15-18).
I believe that if we don't doubt, but believe and speak the Word of God - we will have what we say. (Mark 11:23-24).
I believe that God's Word goes forth, and It doesn't return void, but accomplishes and prospers in the thing for which It was sent. (Isaiah 55:11).
I believe if we’re healed, then we are healed. (1 Peter 2:24).
I believe God sent His Word and healed us. (Psalm 107:20).
I believe Jesus was and is willing to heal. (Matthew 8:2-3).
I believe that Jesus came to give life and life more abundant. (John 10:10).
I believe Jesus bore every sickness and every pain for us all, and by His stripes we obtain healing - by His stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:4-5).
I believe in the Lord, my Healer. (Exodus 15:26).
I believe.

Praise report: we need to sell our boat, it's October, kinda late for boating. the boat stored in a high elevation area soon to be snowed it. My son brought the boat to my house, another small town maybe we will get snow this year. My husband had a bad back and cannot help too much, I have to be the director. I look at the boat and realize I have no clue what I'm doing. I need to install a new battery, drain the gas, put in new gas, dump the leaves from a garbage can, fill wirh water and make sure the boat starts. I'm overwhelmed.
Then I sprain my foot, it's in pain 4 to 6 weeks of light duty. I cannot get on a ladder and work on the boat. I prayed from day 1 and kept seeing a SOLD sign across my forehead.
OK faith without works is dead . I decide I need to work at selling it. I'm not a salesman nor a photographer. I posted an ad in a sportsman's classified forum online, but no picture. A few days later. My son said u cannot sell anything without a picture, Ha. OK I took a picture, not a good one but it's a picture and posted it. I still kept seeing the word SOLD on my forehead, but I don't know if the boat will start.
1 week later a man called to look at the boat. He bought it!!!! We did no maintence, no new gas, no new battery. The man didn't care, he wanted the boat. Wow, this took alot of stress off of me.
Now we have the money for a much needed new roof on our house. 🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
