Praise report: we need to sell our boat, it's October, kinda late for boating. the boat stored in a high elevation area soon to be snowed it. My son brought the boat to my house, another small town maybe we will get snow this year. My husband had a bad back and cannot help too much, I have to be the director. I look at the boat and realize I have no clue what I'm doing. I need to install a new battery, drain the gas, put in new gas, dump the leaves from a garbage can, fill wirh water and make sure the boat starts. I'm overwhelmed.
Then I sprain my foot, it's in pain 4 to 6 weeks of light duty. I cannot get on a ladder and work on the boat. I prayed from day 1 and kept seeing a SOLD sign across my forehead.
OK faith without works is dead . I decide I need to work at selling it. I'm not a salesman nor a photographer. I posted an ad in a sportsman's classified forum online, but no picture. A few days later. My son said u cannot sell anything without a picture, Ha. OK I took a picture, not a good one but it's a picture and posted it. I still kept seeing the word SOLD on my forehead, but I don't know if the boat will start.
1 week later a man called to look at the boat. He bought it!!!! We did no maintence, no new gas, no new battery. The man didn't care, he wanted the boat. Wow, this took alot of stress off of me.
Now we have the money for a much needed new roof on our house. 🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

A dear sweet sister in Christ wrote this and shared it on IG. So eloquently stated. Thought I would share. Pause to read.

Great devotional today:
“The war has been won by way of the death and resurrection of Jesus, but there is still a battle waging war on our life, soul, and heart.
Yesterday, we read Psalm 23 in its entirety and reflected on the different names of God. It is worth noticing, the familiar words of Christ on the cross were also written by David in Psalm 22:1, “My God, My God, why have you forsaken Me.”
As a follower of Jesus, at some point or another, we all will struggle with the thought, God is not listening to my prayers. He has left me alone. He cannot be trusted, and it is up to me to be in control of my happiness. These thoughts are all lies against who Jesus is in order to weaken our faith in Him and steal our peace.
If you are a follower of Jesus and have given your life to Him, you can be assured that the only person God has forsaken was Jesus. During His most extravagant expression of love, Jesus was abandoned on the cross by His Father so that we will never be abandoned. With His last breath, Jesus declared, “It is finished.” (John 19:30) All of Heaven mourned.
Meanwhile, for three days Hell rejoiced. We all know what happened next. Jesus walked out of that same grave in Glory and in victory. What darkness meant to destroy, Jesus died to redeem. God defeated the powers of evil. As followers of Jesus, we can claim that same victory.
Jesus didn’t just say He loved us; He proved His love in ways words could never express by laying down His life for us. He paid off our sinful debt with His perfect life. Because of Jesus, we will never be forsaken but are always loved and worthy to call a Holy God our Father. Our place with God has been forever sealed with triumph!
The war was won long ago, but we are still in a battle. If we don’t know who we are fighting, we cannot win the battle. Jesus called Satan a liar, thief, and deceiver; his goal is to destroy who you are and your relationship with God. Satan is opportunistic, and he will attack when we least expect it. That being said, I’m confident that God, our defender, will fight to protect our hearts, strengthen our faith, and win this waging battle around us.
When COVID-19 invaded our land, the threat of death surrounded us every day. Our dreams and plans appeared to be thrown down a dark pit never to be seen again. We must remember, there is no pit so deep that God’s love cannot reach to pull us out. Yes, my friend, there is no war or invisible enemy that Jesus has not already fought and won. So, let’s hold on to Him and let Him fight our battles!”
“I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep.”
John 10:14-15 ESV

Testimony Tuesday
Well here are a couple of video testimonies about prayer requests that may seem to be frivolous for some. One might even think that we shouldn’t bother God with such things. But God is a god of details. He loves it when we come to him with our concerns no matter how silly or frivolous we may think they are.
He wants to know what troubles us and takes delight when we come before Him and ask.
If He knows the very numbers of the hairs on our heads, He must care about every detail in our daily lives.
There have been times when I would pray for God to help me look for something I’ve lost. Like the time I lost my reading glasses. I had no idea what I did with them. After searching all over the house I finally prayed, “Lord, I need my glasses, please help me find them. Thank you.” Right after that simple prayer request, a thought came to my mind….”Check the patio umbrella.” That’s right! I remember I was winterizing the patio, and I took down the giant patio umbrella and cinched it up with it’s straps and slipped it into it’s case and positioned in the corner inside my garage.
I went back to check and untied the straps and there inside the umbrella case were my glasses…”Thank you Lord.” I guess they got snagged off the collar of my sweatshirt and fell into the case. Had I not asked God to help me I most likely wouldn’t have found them until the following Summer.
So, keep praying for those silly things, and you’ll find more than just an answer to your prayer. Your faith will be increased as you trust Him with those little things.
““Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!”
Matthew 7:7-11

My turn for Wednesday devotional…
What a night folks.
I could hardly contain my emotions when it was officially announced that Donald J. Trump became President of the United States for the second time.
My heart overflows with gratitude. I humbled myself and cried out to the Lord with thanksgiving and prayer.
God truly shed His grace on our nation.
We deserved judgement, but God heard our prayers. He went above and beyond our expectations.
I don’t ever want to take for granted our freedoms. We need God every day, and every moment. We came so close to being overtaken by an evil and stifling government.
America is truly beautiful, but only by God’s grace as we surrender to Him and His will for us and our country.
As we rise to the dawn of the first morning of this “Golden Age” as Trump states, let us not forget that there are other countries who dream of having a constitutional republic such as America.
Give praise and glory to where the credit belongs; to our Lord.
Feel free to post a freedom prayer of gratitude and thanksgiving below.👇🏼

Father, I am humbled before Your presence. You heard our cry for this nation. A simple thank you does not seem adequate. We deserve judgement as individuals, and as a nation but because we are repenting, and humbling ourselves before You, Your mercy and grace has overridden that judgement upon our nation.
Lord, as we enter this unprecedented era, let us not ever take for granted the freedoms we have, nor forget what You have done for us in this last hour.
I am truly grateful.
Thank you God!
In Your name I pray, amen!

I wanted to share this video because it really touched my heart. It is said that we Americans take for granted what we have here. Other nations recognize the freedoms we have.
Watch as these citizens of Japan show their gratitude for our country. Let us not take for granted ever again what God has done. Praise Him!

They tried to impeach him, silence him, convict him, and shoot him.
Trump survived all of it, so they overturned their own election in a soft coup on President Biden.
And he beat them anyway.
We beat them.
We must not squander this moment in history.
The fight has just begun.

What an incredible night…
To be honest
This is just the first chapter …
Now the real work begins ..
Lord God, I pray that you would bring a spirit of repentance and humility to the hearts of America and I will speak first of myself …
Lord, I want to plant a spirit of humble repentance in my heart ..
I pray that you would provide your purpose for me in this next season as I think there is a deep shift taking place and I believe that you are the architect of this ..
So Lord, I pray that you would put a blanket of protection over this nation
That you would calm the narrative and bring constructive odialogue front and center
I pray that you would continue to remove demonic strongholds from the crevices, and that you would unmask, continue to unmask the lies and deception that has covered this nation for generations .
But I pray for the restoration of families
And a right mind in the individuals of this nation…
Most of all, Lord, I pray that you would unleash his spirit of love and generosity…
I pray this all in Jesus name

Forwarded from Lord, What Do You Want Me To Know Today?
Me: “Lord, what do You want me to know today?”
God: “Settle your anxious thoughts by giving them to Me every time you find yourself dwelling on them. I have better things for you to do with your time that will produce good fruits in your life and the lives of others.
“Concentrate on using your energy to complete the tasks I’ve given you to do. If you don’t know what those are, ask Me for clarification and watch for My signs to you. When you truly seek to know My will, through reading My Word and through personal interaction with Me in prayer, I will not withhold from you anything necessary for the continued growth of your faith in My ability to guide you and shape you in the way you should go.”
Job 42:2 (NIV) ~ “I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted.”
