Bison are the only animal that turn into a snowstorm rather than away from it because they instinctively know that walking into the storm will get them out of the weather quicker. There may be a life lesson for humans in this. It also makes for some epic pictures.
So whatever 2025 has got for us, bring it on! Good bye 2024, hello 2025!
Happy New Year!

Forwarded from Lord, What Do You Want Me To Know Today?
Me: “Lord, what do You want me to know today?”
God: “Steady steps forward in your walk with Me will bring you to the place of fulfillment that your heart longs for. You can't see yet what I have prepared for you in the days ahead, but the more you grow in your faith in My provision, the easier it will be to trust Me in every circumstance. Let Me guide you through this day and every day to come. You weren't meant to walk this path alone...that's why I'm here with you. I love you too much to let you grow stagnant. Keep moving...you'll get there."
1 Cor. 2:9 (NIV) "However, as it is written: 'No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him'"

The Armor Of God
Ephesians 6:13-15
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace.
As I was reading about putting on the whole armor of God, I noticed this repetitious action word:"having."
"Having done, having put, having shod."
This portion of noscripture speaks of standing. When we look at the "having done," we can see that we can stand against the wiles of the devil - against his attacks - because we are already girded with truth (as we have already put in on). We have already put on the breastplate of righteousness, and we have already put on peace. This is how we stand and do not fall.
So many times we are on the defensive when the attacks of the enemy come. Yet, God wants us to be already covered in the protective armor before the attack. To be ready.
Wearing armor already indicates that one knows they need protection. It indicates that the armor wearer knows that they are in a battle, and they stand ready. Once covered, we are instructed to take the shield of faith, the sword of the Spirit, and also the helmet of salvation. (See Ephesians 6:16-17).
We must not leave our helmet behind. We stand, and we overcome because of everything Jesus paid for in giving us the gift of salvation. We must keep close to our thoughts all that we have been saved from. We must always keep our first love when we believed on the Lord Jesus Christ. We must keep our minds protected with the truth that we are a new creation in Christ Jesus. (See 2 Corinthians 5:17).
The enemy works hard to deceive, discourage, and to ensnare, so we must keep our helmet of salvation securely fastened over our minds and our thoughts.
"Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might." (Ephesians 6:10b).
We are called to be strong. Our strength is in Him. In the Lord. We receive His might, when we put on His armor.
Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
God is not only with us with His presence, but when we wear His armor, we are covered from head to toe in Him. No wonder He commanded Joshua to be strong and courageous. He didn't ask him to do so on his own, but to do so equipped, protected, and covered in His armor. Praise God!
Lord, thank You so much for the armor of God that You have fitted perfectly for us. You have equipped us for every good work! You have given us what we need to be strong and courageous. Thank You! Help us to be vigilant to keep Your armor securely fastened on us. We will not stumble or fall when we are walking in Your strength and victory. I pray all this in Jesus' name, amen!
