One of the most beautiful things you'll see today.

Violinist Italo Rezende breaks down crying while playing "YESHUA" live. What a wonderful moment captured live. I've watched this over and over again on YouTube.

God, You are so good. Jesus we love You so much.

Thank You Holy Spirit for Your presence.
Amen!

Testimony Tuesday

Today I want to share three truth testimonies.

Video one is about trusting God even when it seems like He is guiding you in the opposite direction of what you think should be happening.

Video two is about recognizing the Spirit and power of God within you and not to keep it to yourself. People need to see God’s power work through you!

Video three is a really great example of what it means to be made in the image of God.

Enjoy!

Testimony Tuesday

For many years the Lord used license plates and or trucks like this to let me know He was watching over me.
Has anyone else experienced this also? Feel free to share your experience.

The Suffering Servant

As we reflect during Passion Week, it is almost impossible to think and bear those thoughts sometimes because of the amount of what Jesus experienced for all of us.

Imagine yourself present on that day, huddle amongst a beleaguered crowd.
It is sometimes hard to comprehend the crucifixion of Jesus. To die instantly would have been a blessing, but it would deny the suffering that was meant for us.

We are very familiar with the sanitized version of Jesus hanging on a cross, imagery and paintings, movie depictions and such.

But have you ever considered the actual brutality of what they did to him?

I will spare the horrific details here, but I’m sure your imagination will be enough based on historical accounts of Roman crucifixions.

When one reads through Isaiah 52:14 you truly get an idea…

“Just as there were many who were appalled at him— his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any human being and his form marred beyond human likeness—”
Isaiah 52:14 NIV

Another version…

“As many were astonished at you— his appearance was so marred, beyond human semblance, and his form beyond that of the children of mankind—”
Isaiah 52:14 ESV

Isaiah describes it so accurately.

His face was so disfigured he seemed hardly human, and from his appearance, one would scarcely known he was a man.

Imagine yourself there that day, looking up at Him hanging on that cross. You are not even sure if that is a male or female because his flesh was ravaged from his body.

Now, read through Isaiah 53.

You will come to these verses…

“Yet it was the will of the Lord to crush him; he has put him to grief; when his soul makes an offering for guilt, he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days; the will of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.
Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see and be satisfied; by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant, make many to be accounted righteous, and he shall bear their iniquities.
Therefore I will divide him a portion with the many, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong, because he poured out his soul to death and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and makes intercession for the transgressors.”

—Isaiah 53:10-12 ESV

Jesus was never a victim. He was placed on displayed to be shamed, humiliated and executed. He was never a pawn in a political power arena or even at the mercy of the Roman government…this was ALL planned and ordained by God.

You see, the devil lost his leverage that day. This was God’s victory.

It may have looked final…

It may look as though hope was lost…

It may have looked like Jesus was the enemy of God…

It may look like the devil won…

And, yet Isaiah states…”Yet it was the will of the Lord…”

Another version says it this way…

“Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him…”

But as it accomplished the work of reconciling the world to Himself, it was completely pleasing to God the Father. This was foretold. It would happen. The prophecy was fulfilled.

I don’t ever want to lose sight of this. I never want to take it for granted or abuse the grace bestowed to me either. He was broken for you and I.

To be broken, is to be surrendered.
To be surrendered, is to be reconciled.
To be reconciled is to be whole.
To be whole, is to be complete.
To be complete, is to be victorious.
To be victorious is to be free in Him.
It is finished!

We celebrate not the suffering of Christ, even though he felt the horror of our sins as we who have sinned could not feel it. This is the finished work of reconciliation of man to God. It was the final installment of a debt we couldn’t pay on our own.

The debt was satisfied.

The offering of the Lamb, our Messiah; his death and burial does not end the story… He lives!
Oh how glorious…our resurrected Messiah…He lives!

I’ll say it again…He lives!!
