“Lord, call us to battle, that we may proclaim you King of Kings and Lord of Lords!” —Miss Clara from the movie War Room

Contentment is a mindset that allows us to stop worrying and start trusting God completely. It’s not that our lives have suddenly become perfect or devoid of suffering but that we know God has a plan for even the hard parts of life. We know that we can trust Him. ⁣

When we are content, we know that God loves us, He has good plans for us, and He will meet our needs.⁣ ☕️

3,000 Year Old "Beka" weight from Temple Mount

This beka weight, which dates back to the days of the First Temple, was found in archaeological soil originating from the foundations of the Western Wall – north of the City of David, at the foot of Robinson’s Arch.

At (~0.20 oz), it corresponds exactly to the half‑shekel temple tax referenced in Exodus 38:26—providing literal physical evidence for these biblical practices . ☕️

Testimony Tuesday

Who doesn’t love testimonies about mysterious strangers who show up in a crisis and later you find out that no such person existed or are no longer to be found?

We’ve all heard these familiar testimonies. I personally never get tired of hearing about them.

Today I’ll share two videos that prove God’s ministering angels are certainly real.

One of the videos is from inspirational Christian author Karen Kingsbury. You may be familiar with some of her books and movies. I believe she has a new book coming out in October and the movie in November; “The Christmas Ring.”

The second video is a testimony from a young mother who is approached by one of those “strangers” at her church who speaks life and prophesies over her unborn child that she was planning to abort.

You just never know!
Have you ever experienced an encounter with one of these “strangers?” Feel free to share if you have.

“Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.”
Hebrews 13:2 ESV

Good morning friends!

I wanted to share an update to a video I posted on July 11th. (Just scroll up to that date to find it)
Many of you have seen the viral video of the young boy who broke his arm in a skate board accident recovery from anesthesia in the hospital who had seen Jesus and his dad who passed a way a year ago.

This was an amazing testimony to what this little boy saw. The mom who took the video has an update and an amazing testimony that goes with it.

I didn’t want to wait until next Testimony Tuesday to share the update. After watching her testimony I felt led to share the rest of the story behind her son’s encounter, and what transpired afterwards.

You will be blessed!

Testimony Tuesday

I love the following video testimony because it reminds me to always be ready, listen, and obey God when He prompts us, especially when it seems like the opposite of how it should be when encountering people. You know God is nudging you, but you feel a little awkward. In fact, it may seem like it doesn’t even make sense.

Friends, never forget that you are a vessel, and you have something valuable inside of you that God wants to show off, meaning His power and caring presence through you to reach others through miracles.

Today’s video testimony is powerful. How often do we sometimes try to second guess what God is doing in a situation, when He simply wants you to obey His promptings and nothing more, and He’ll do the rest.

Often there have been times I’ve second guessed Him. My first thought is usually a “But what if?” What if I am wrong about this? Or what if they think I’m weird? What if I am not getting what you’re trying to tell me Lord?

But….
What if God has something else in mind that just sounds crazy?

Like the story I once heard of a delivery guy named Jimmy. When he was dropping off windows at a construction site, he struck up a conversation with a carpenter named Nick on site. Nick let it be known that his marriage was on the rocks and that he didn’t hold out much hope. But he desperately wanted to save his marriage.

Jimmy a Christian, was learning how to hear God’s voice and sense His nudging. Though he wasn’t that confident, he asked Nick… “Nick, I really want to help you. What can I do for you?”

Without hesitation Nick told him, “You could tell me what to do next. I really want my marriage to work.”

Jimmy panicked and told Nick to go get a piece of paper and a pen, but he was stalling because he didn’t know what to say. He was praying and asking God to give him a word for this fellow. Then God put a prompt in his mind to tell Nick: “Tell him he should go home and make his bed.”

With his mouth opened. “How did you know?” Nick gasped.
“That is a giant source of conflict for us! I’m the last one up, and I NEVER make the bed. My wife says it’s a sign of everything that’s wrong with the marriage. But you know what? I’m going to drive back home at lunch and make the bed before my wife gets home.”

Jimmy knew that God intervened and delivered a personal message that would only mean something to Nick. Nick wanted to make things right with his wife, and it took another person to tell him what to do, but only something God knew. And God used Jimmy to deliver the message that would begin to change the course because God cared about Nick and his marriage.

So, you see how sometimes simple and crazy little details can shift the heart of someone when we listen and obey God without hesitation. We don’t always need all the details, nor even really understand but this demonstrates God’s willingness to do a personal miracle if we are willing and obedient without any reason or explanation.

God has heart for that individual because He is a very personal God. In the end He is searching for people who are willing to take risks and extend God’s love in such a way that only a miracle from God can draw them directly to Him.

“The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.”
Jeremiah 31:3

I just want you to know:
God sees you.
He hasn’t turned His face from you.
He hears every quiet prayer, every deep sigh, every tear you don’t have words for.

You haven’t been forgotten.
You haven’t been skipped.
And this delay, It’s not a punishment. It’s preparation.

I know it’s hard—I’ve been there too. Watching others move ahead while you sit in silence, wondering when it’ll be your turn. But let me remind you: God’s timing is never off. Not once.

He’s not making you wait just to see how long you’ll hold on. He’s protecting you. Molding you. Building something sacred inside you.

Because what He has for you isn’t scraps—it’s a full table. The feast. The best.

He doesn’t give His children leftovers. He gives purpose. And purpose takes time.

So please—don’t settle. Don’t fold. Don’t trade your worth for something rushed and half-formed. You are the prize, not the afterthought. The right heart, the right season, the right door—God is working behind the scenes in ways you can’t yet see.

Your heart is in His hands. And His hands are good.

So in the waiting—grow.
In the quiet—listen.
In the stretch—trust.

Let Him fill what no one else can. Let Him hold you together while you’re still becoming. Because the wait isn’t just about what’s coming. It’s about who you’re becoming while you wait.

You’re not behind. You’re being refined.
You’re not alone. You’re being held.
You’re not forgotten. You’re deeply, intentionally loved.

And when it finally comes, you’ll see—it was worth every delay.☕️

Testimony Tuesday

Have look at this amazing video of tears under a microscope. What do you see?

Did you know that tears will crystallize when they start to dry out? They form patterns that will never repeat again. Amazing!

God’s care for each of us is so profound even our tears glorify Him. The uniqueness of the pattern of these crystallized tears are as different as each individual on this planet.

When David wrote the verse below he was hiding from his enemies in a cave. In this period of David’s life, he was completely alone. This made him value the sympathy and care of God all the more, and he found great comfort in the thought that God noted his misery.

God cares about all the emotions we have, not just sad emotions, even the joyful ones.

As I watch the beautiful formations these tears make I am in complete awe.

He gives us the gift of tears to remind us that He is near us when we cry out to Him in sorrow, loneliness, grief, or pain and He celebrates with us when we experience joy, relief, happiness and laughter.

“You have kept count of my tossings; put my tears in your bottle. Are they not in your book?”
Psalm 56:8 ESV

I love this short story about an atheist father who shares how God healed his autistic son, and how God responded to him when he cried out to the Lord.

When I hear an atheist say; “I don’t believe in God.”

What they are really saying, is they actually do believe—they just have faith in something else. Perhaps they don’t know exactly what they believe in.

Even if someone doesn’t believe that God exists, they still believe in something.

I would imagine it would take more faith for them to maintain their atheism than it would to just simply believe.

And this is the interesting part, every person on earth starts off with an emptiness in their heart of hearts that only God can fill. That is by design. Perhaps atheism is more about not what they don’t believe but more about something they just haven’t experienced yet.

And with this father, that “something” prompted him to call upon God. Hmmm? Isn’t that interesting? So that empty spot in his heart had a voice and spoke to him loud enough for him to hear and consider there just might be a God who cares, and listens. Praise God this father heard God’s voice within his heart, and called out to the One who cares.

“And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved...”
Joel 2:32 ESV
