I love this analogy!

You are holding a cup of coffee when someone comes along and bumps into you or shakes your arm, making you spill your coffee everywhere.

Why did you spill the coffee?

"Because someone bumped into me!!!"

Wrong answer.

You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup.

Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea.

*Whatever is inside the cup is what will spill out.*
Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which WILL happen), whatever is inside you will come out. It's easy to fake it, until you get rattled.

*So we have to ask ourselves... “what's in my cup?"*

When life gets tough, what spills over?

Joy, gratefulness, peace and humility?

Anger, bitterness, harsh words and reactions?

Life provides the cup, YOU choose how to fill it.

Today let's work towards filling our cups with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, words of affirmation; and kindness, gentleness and love for others.
Galatians 5:22-23

Testimony Tuesday

Most of you have probably seen this man whose name is Marcus Stanley in videos across social media. His inspiration to share his passion for the Lord came originally from a place of darkness in his past.

Here is his incredible testimony.
I’ve included a link to his entire testimony.👇🏼

This next video may be a little disturbing to watch at first but keep watching. It speaks for itself. Let us not forget… God is in the business of changing lives!
Praise God!🙌🏼

Friends, can you all please pray for Charlie Kirk? He is in critical condition. He was speaking at a rally in Utah. That’s all I know. Thank you.

I like to have a visual when I’m praying, if possible. This is Charlie Kirk, his wife, and their two children. Pray for all of them. Focus on Charlie healing, but pray for all of them for this is a traumatic time for all.

I declare that Charlie Kirk will live and not die, and will declare the works of the Lord. In Jesus’ name.

I declare that Charlie Kirk will live and not die, and will declare the works of the Lord in Jesus’ name.

Pray for Charlie’s family.

Friends, I don’t know about you but this hit hard, and I’m just devastated by Charlie Kirk’s death. It doesn’t seem fair at all. He did so much for our country, his boldness for the kingdom of God, his love for Jesus Christ and his family and for this country.

Charlie’s death will not be in vain. Like many before him, even the disciples who preached the gospel who were martyred because of their faith, he has left an indelible mark on our hearts for sure as our nation grieves.

And let’s not forget Charlie Kirk’s message on campuses across the United States challenging the opposition winning hearts over for God and a nation that changed people’s opinions over for a better country. God qualified a man with no college degree, and changed the landscape of politics single handedly…God did it because Charlie said yes.

Charlie divided and conquered. He set out on a mission with relentless faith.

He was a man God called for a purpose and Charlie obeyed that voice most likely knowing all the hatred towards him. He had to have known the risks.

As hard as it is to hear this news, it still stings even though we know Charlie is in the presence of his Savior Jesus Christ. He is finally home. We can rejoice in that fact. He ran the race with endurance, and never tired.

I am reminded of Romans 8:28

“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
Romans 8:28 ESV

Though we see this as senseless, and it angers us, this is the time to come together united knowing that all of us who love the Lord are at risk also. We continue to carry on the mission that Charlie set as example. His legacy will not be forgotten. There will be good that will come from this tragedy.

Let us remember our purpose for the Kingdom of God…just like Charlie’s purpose. Love is sacrificial, love is costly, always has been.
We are all called for a purpose. What kind of legacy will we leave behind. What is your faith costing you right now?

One thing is for sure, God never promised us a cozy pain free life, but He did promise that no one could snatch us out of His hands. And there it is…without the death of our Lord and Savior (that costly love) who rose again, His sacrificial, love for all of us who choose to believe, is life eternal. We are His! We belong to Him and so was Charlie. Hallelujah!

We will forever be reminded we still have a hope. Our future is secure after we leave this earth as long as we are surrendered to our Savior Jesus Christ.

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 8:35-39 ESV

Rest well Charlie Kirk. We rejoice with you as you hear those words from your Savior; “Well done, good and faithful servant of the Lord.” You will be missed, and may your legacy of your faith and perseverance be a reminder for all of us to keep going to spread hope to a dying world.

—Blessings
