“Lord, call us to battle, that we may proclaim you King of Kings and Lord of Lords!” —Miss Clara from the movie War Room
Download Telegram
Hey friends,

I came across this video through another Telegram channel and thought I would share. It is from Dr. Frank Turek, who was Charlie Kirk’s mentor. It is well worth the watch.

He gives a testimony of his close relationship with Charlie and was by his side when Charlie was killed. Some of you may have heard the conspiracy that the “man in the white shirt” was sending hand signals or making gestures. Well Dr. Turek debunks this because it was him that we saw. (He talks about in the video)

This is a very heart wrenching video, as Frank tearfully discusses that fateful day. But it is also comforting to hear about what Charlie was like; his life, and his passion to share his faith without compromise.

I believe you will be blessed by this testimony of Dr. Frank Turek’s relationship with Charlie and the legacy that Charlie undoubtedly left.

You can find him on his YouTube channel: Cross Examined

Blessings

I told him “Let’s meet early- just you and me. Before the chaos. Before the noise. Before the house wakes up. Coffee, Quiet & Connection.

— I sat down, Messy bun. Pajamas. Bible open. Coffee warm in my hands. “Okay im here” I whispered.

And I felt him say “I’ve been here. I’m glad you came”.

Then I heard the sound. Tiny feet. One sleepy toddler with bed head whispering “Can I snuggle you?” — I looked up and said “Just a minute Jesus..”

But one snuggle turned into breakfast…. A spill… a missing shoe.. The day had started and I said “im sorry I’ll come back.”— He gently responded “ I’ll be right here.”

I turned on worship music in the car. Whispered prayers over snacks. Held back tears in the Laundry room over frustration.
And I heard him say “This counts too”.

“I don’t need your perfect morning, I want your heart — right where it is. In the car, in the chaos, in the middle of motherhood. “

At 9pm when the house was quiet i said “Did I miss it??” And He said “Never. I’ve been here all day. Right here, still with you, still for you.

Because Thats who HE is. Not keeping score, Not giving up. Just faithfully showing up. He doesn’t need my performance, he just needs my presence. 🤍

Let the fire of God consume every dark scheme against us, in the name of Jesus.

Happy first day of Fall!

He changes times and seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding;
He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what is in the
darkness, and the light dwells with him.

Yesterday I watched the entire Charlie Kirk memorial. I have never seen anything like this before. I was moved for sure. The outpouring of the Spirit of God was palpable. I pray that those who made a commitment to Jesus Christ since Charlie's death will be nurtured by other grounded Christians. Pray for them, pray that their hearts will be forever diligent. Pray the enemy does not snatch away the seeds that were planted. To God be the glory!

Testimony Tuesday

I’m sure most of you are reeling in all the video highlights, commentaries and captures of Charlie Kirk’s memorial these past couple of days. I’ve heard some say it was part Christian concert, part political convention/rally, and a Celebration of Life.

I must say, I don’t ever recall seeing such a memorial in my life like this one. Although, there is perhaps one moment in history that I am reminded of; it was during President John F Kennedy’s memorial. Even though it was nothing like Charlie’s memorial, I just remember seeing photos and videos of the crowds gather, Jacquline Kennedy and her two children.

When Kennedy was assassinated I was six years old at that time, I don’t recall the day it happened, but I clearly remember seeing the funeral procession; a coffin draped with the American flag on a horse drawn caisson. I recall my mother sitting on the edge of the coffee table with a tissue softly crying and wiping her tears while watching the funeral procession on a black and white TV. That was the only memory that left a profound impression in my mind.

Though, there is no comparison between the two ceremonies, it still affected the hearts of people. We feel the pain and sorrow.

Why is it that these events impact us so much? We all probably remember where we were when it happened or how we found out.
Why are we so sensitive to it especially to someone most of us don’t know?

I believe part of it is because events like this tells us our hearts are breakable. And, most importantly it’s because God made us in His image. Oh how it must of broke God’s heart too. This is how I know God is in us. When we grieve, He grieves. He understands.

For today’s testimony, a dear friend of mine and her husband made the trek to Arizona to Charlie Kirk’s memorial. She had posted her photo diary on FaceBook.
She captioned each photo so eloquently.

Here is her photo diary.

We returned home today absolutely exhausted both mentally and physically from our weekend in AZ for Charlie Kirk’s funeral. I wanted to post pictures as it happened, but I was true to myself and stayed in the moment. I knew I could post later. Here it is. Instead of writing a book and then posting, I posted below the pictures to kind of walk you through our day with an explanation below each one.
Arriving at 2 am, it was still 88 degrees, standing room only, all in hopes of getting a seat in the stadium. The crowd grew with every hour. For security purposes there wasn’t much parking close by so most people had already walked a mile to get to where we would stand for 6+ hours.

The sun came up and so did the temperature. The gates were to open at 8. Everyone was patient, conversations were at a minimum, it was peaceful for such a disorganized wait. There were no disturbances except for a few medical needs. People were very kind and helped as they could. Super thankful no protesters showed up. There was a huge police presence and we had snipers on the roofs all around us. At the point the gates opened up, they even cheered us on.
Many of us were still in the throngs of Charlie’s assassination and yet full of anticipation for what we were about to be a part of.

This speaks for itself. Be a Charlie. And after what I witnessed, I’d say ladies, be an Erika♥️

We got inside and had amazing seats. About center court (or the 50 yard line), 22 seats up from the floor. We were the 4th lower section to start filling so we witnessed the place fill up!! It was a site to see. They coordinated this in one week, what should have taken at least a year.

A little view when I thought all the people were almost seated. I was wrong… we weren’t even half way there. The music started playing and worship started.

I wish I had captured when Brandon Lake asked us all to stop, put down our phones and lift up our hands to sing with him. Together we sang Hallelujah. The Holy Spirit blew in like a wind and I felt it. It was as if a revival had just begun.

Abraham Lincoln’s little brother popped in the seats just below us to pay his respects.

This one had me crying. Their beautiful love story, a family just begun, a wife going home to her house without her husband, her littles asking when Daddy would be home. Ugh, I still cry. It’s not fair. How can it be. Why??? I think today we found out a little about the why.

Zoom in, see Charlie’s “why”! This and many more. What evil meant to destroy, God will redeem. Everyone here felt a connection with Charlie or Charlie changed their life. A beautiful vigil with sweet tribute and complete honor.
