“Lord, call us to battle, that we may proclaim you King of Kings and Lord of Lords!” —Miss Clara from the movie War Room

We say we trust God, but so often, we live like it all depends on us.

We try to control outcomes, protect ourselves from pain, and manage every detail so life won’t fall apart.

But the truth is, you were never meant to carry what only God can hold. And until you let go, you will never know the deep, unshakable peace that comes from choosing surrender over control.

And that type of surrender doesn’t come natural to us.

It’s the boldest act of faith. It says, “I believe Your will is better than mine, even when I don’t understand it.”

So I just wanted to set a little reminder for you today, that you don’t need to have all the answers about what’s ahead. You just need to hold fast to the One who goes before you.

Peace begins where striving ends, and trust takes over.

What you place in His hands, He strengthens. What you surrender, He sustains. And when you yield to His will, you find the rest that you have been searching for. ☕️

Well, I think the longest I’ve waited to turn the furnace on was by the end of October. I normally turn my oven on or the fireplace to warm my downstairs. But when the bitter cold arrives…I finally surrender to the furnace. Anyone else place this game?😁

Me: “Lord, what do You want me to know today?”

God: “Come to Me in earnest surrender, laying down at My feet all those things that hinder you from being available to Me when I call you to work on what I’ve given you to complete for My kingdom purpose in your lifetime.

“Trust Me to help you handle those things that slow you down and trip you up. I have better plans for you than to leave you stuck in a rut of just surviving; let Me show you the greater things you can accomplish with the very resources I’ve already given you. What I'm looking for in you is a heart of humble submission, willing to be shaped and molded by My hand, so that you may become more usable to Me and more resilient for the journey I intend to take you on.”

Ps. 84:12 (NIV) ~ “Lord Almighty, blessed is the one who trusts in you.”

Welcome to our second week of the ACTS prayer model. This week we focus on Confession.

Again we want to direct you the helpful Bible Hub app.

Confession
After Adoration, the next step is Confession, acknowledging our sins and seeking forgiveness. Scripture emphasizes the seriousness of sin (Romans 3:23) and our need to repent. Confession fosters humility and openness before God: “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).
In (Daniel 9:5-6), Daniel’s prayer includes detailed confession of wrongdoing, demonstrating the necessity of honestly admitting guilt. Confessing sin is not simply recounting failures; rather, it is agreeing with God about our moral state and dependence on His grace, ultimately leading to restoration and fellowship. The manunoscripts of both the Old and New Testaments consistently highlight confession as an integral aspect of genuine prayer (see Leviticus 5:5, Psalm 32:5).

Testimony Tuesday

I love to hear about encounter miracles that are unexplainable. You know…the kind that instill a wow factor response.

These are the kind of miracles that gives you Holy Spirit goose bumps.

Though we shouldn’t be surprised at all, because we hear accounts like this all the time.
But we love to hear about them because stories like this increase our faith.

Today I am sharing a couple of said miracles. Please feel free to share your experience of a miracle encounter.

I would have to agree with Pastor Sean Fuecht regarding Trump’s comments about making it to heaven. I believe the Holy Spirit is working in Trump’s heart, for sure. Please pray for Trump. Pray that his heart will finally see and completely surrender. Pray he will have an encounter with Jesus.

Heavenly Father! My heart is full when I think of all the ways You are faithful and good! You surround me with Your beauty and grace and love, and I declare right now, that I love You deeply.

Thank You for giving me people to love and people to love me.

Thank You for meeting all my needs –especially the ones I do not foresee.

Thank You for the obvious –and not so obvious like those times someone holds the door for me or says something kind, or lets me cut in line or they give me a compliment. Thank You for the times someone sends me a card or surprises me with something homemade or handcrafted.

All these little gestures tell me that You think of me and You are present in every detail of my life.

Keep opening my eyes so I see You everywhere, all the time. Keep increasing my love for You.

Remove any obstacles preventing me from acknowledging Your steadfastness, expose any hidden agenda or grudges, and help me surrender vanity.

You are mine and I am Yours.

Thanks be to You, I praise You, all honor and glory belong to You.

It is in the precious name of Jesus I pray to You.

Lyrics:👆🏻
When the doubt in my way
Tries to get in my face
Sayin’ I have no reason to praise
I will give thanks
I will give thanks

Verse 2
When the roar that I hear
Is the voice of my fear
Tryin’ to silence this hope in my heart
I will give thanks
I will give thanks

A song of thanksgiving
Is my battlecry
With joy as my weapon
I’ll stand and defy
The lie of the dark
With my hands lifted to the sky

I WILL REJOICE
I WILL REJOICE
I WILL DANCE IN YOUR KINDNESS
AND CLAIM EVERY YES AND AMEN
I WILL REJOICE
I WILL REJOICE
I WILL SHOUT OF YOUR GOODNESS
FOREVER AGAIN AND AGAIN

When it’s all stripped away
and it seems it’s too late
Hope is buried and dead in the grave
I’ll speak Your name
I’ll speak Your name

A song of thanksgiving
Is my battlecry
With joy as my weapon
I’ll stand and defy
The lie of the dark
With my hands lifted to the sky

The joy of the Lord
The joy of the Lord
The joy of the Lord is my strength
I’ll never stop
I’ll never stop
Nothing can stop my praise

Testimony Tuesday

I love the fact that the Lord always meets us where we’re at. Even in times of lack. I can’t even tell you how many times God has met my needs in a crisis, especially when something breaks down, or when you are going through one of the deepest valleys in your life.

Today’s video is about when God shows up. He knows our needs and provides.

Here is a repost of a testimony that I shared here back in 2021.

Many years ago I was struggling financially. I was driving down the freeway praying out loud to God asking Him to provide my every need. Right after that prayer a little red car passed me and pulled in front of me...the license plate read: J JIREH. I burst into tears, it was then I knew He would take care of me. When I hear the word Jehovah Jireh I think of that day. My Lord will provide...always!

AND….As if that wasn’t enough. God showed up again right after that moment with the red car.

A big white box truck had passed me within a few seconds right after I saw that little red car. On the back of that white truck in big red block letters it said…

THANK YOU LORD

And I sure did!

Perhaps, right now you are in a situation where you are struggling financially.

Perhaps, you lost your job because you refused the vax mandated by your company.

Perhaps, you have suffered a catastrophic illness, and the medical bills are piling up.

Perhaps, you simply don’t know how your’e going to survive.

You trust God, but you’re wondering how this is all going to be possible. It’s okay to question and talk to God about it, in fact He desires you to bring all your cares before Him. He wants you to come to Him first.

Cry out to Him like I did. He is near and He hears you. He will not let you fall head long into despair.

It has been over 30 years ago since I saw that red car. God has NEVER failed to provide. He will do the same for you my friends.

Thank Him in advance for the provision He is making in your life right now. That is an act of faith! And, this pleases Him!

I speak and declare God will provide for all your needs, in Jesus name! Amen!

🙏🏻❤️

“And Abraham called the name of the place, The-Lord-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the Lord it shall be provided.””
Genesis 22:14

Do you have a testimony about God’s provision? Feel free to share in the comments.

Blessings,

Paula
