Lyrics:👆🏻
When the doubt in my way
Tries to get in my face
Sayin’ I have no reason to praise
I will give thanks
I will give thanks
Verse 2
When the roar that I hear
Is the voice of my fear
Tryin’ to silence this hope in my heart
I will give thanks
I will give thanks
A song of thanksgiving
Is my battlecry
With joy as my weapon
I’ll stand and defy
The lie of the dark
With my hands lifted to the sky
I WILL REJOICE
I WILL REJOICE
I WILL DANCE IN YOUR KINDNESS
AND CLAIM EVERY YES AND AMEN
I WILL REJOICE
I WILL REJOICE
I WILL SHOUT OF YOUR GOODNESS
FOREVER AGAIN AND AGAIN
When it’s all stripped away
and it seems it’s too late
Hope is buried and dead in the grave
I’ll speak Your name
I’ll speak Your name
A song of thanksgiving
Is my battlecry
With joy as my weapon
I’ll stand and defy
The lie of the dark
With my hands lifted to the sky
The joy of the Lord
The joy of the Lord
The joy of the Lord is my strength
I’ll never stop
I’ll never stop
Nothing can stop my praise
When the doubt in my way
Tries to get in my face
Sayin’ I have no reason to praise
I will give thanks
I will give thanks

Testimony Tuesday
I love the fact that the Lord always meets us where we’re at. Even in times of lack. I can’t even tell you how many times God has met my needs in a crisis, especially when something breaks down, or when you are going through one of the deepest valleys in your life.
Today’s video is about when God shows up. He knows our needs and provides.
Here is a repost of a testimony that I shared here back in 2021.
Many years ago I was struggling financially. I was driving down the freeway praying out loud to God asking Him to provide my every need. Right after that prayer a little red car passed me and pulled in front of me...the license plate read: J JIREH. I burst into tears, it was then I knew He would take care of me. When I hear the word Jehovah Jireh I think of that day. My Lord will provide...always!
AND….As if that wasn’t enough. God showed up again right after that moment with the red car.
A big white box truck had passed me within a few seconds right after I saw that little red car. On the back of that white truck in big red block letters it said…
THANK YOU LORD
And I sure did!
Perhaps, right now you are in a situation where you are struggling financially.
Perhaps, you lost your job because you refused the vax mandated by your company.
Perhaps, you have suffered a catastrophic illness, and the medical bills are piling up.
Perhaps, you simply don’t know how your’e going to survive.
You trust God, but you’re wondering how this is all going to be possible. It’s okay to question and talk to God about it, in fact He desires you to bring all your cares before Him. He wants you to come to Him first.
Cry out to Him like I did. He is near and He hears you. He will not let you fall head long into despair.
It has been over 30 years ago since I saw that red car. God has NEVER failed to provide. He will do the same for you my friends.
Thank Him in advance for the provision He is making in your life right now. That is an act of faith! And, this pleases Him!
I speak and declare God will provide for all your needs, in Jesus name! Amen!
🙏🏻❤️
“And Abraham called the name of the place, The-Lord-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the Lord it shall be provided.””
Genesis 22:14

Welcome to our final week of the ACTS prayer model. This week we focus on Supplication.
The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines supplicate as “to make a humble entreaty, especially: to pray to God, to ask for earnestly and humbly” which is also a pretty good denoscription of how the word is used in the Bible.
So, how do we make our requests known to God by prayer and supplication?
We simply ask
We are familiar with Philippians 4:6 and Matthew 7:7-8
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”
God wants you to bring your requests to Him.
He already knows what our desires are and He knows the motives behind our desires. He answers our prayers according to His sovereign will and when our requests line up with His will.
We come to the throne with boldness and humility.
“Therefore, let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” – Hebrews 4:16
We can approach God with boldness and confidence as He is our loving Father who wants to bless us.
“Or what man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a snake, will he? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!” – Matthew 7:9-11
We approach Him with an attitude of reverence and give Him the honor that He rightfully deserves. Our humility is a direct reflection of our view of who God is.

We bring our requests with faith.
“And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.” – Hebrews 11:6
“Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us” – Ephesians 3:20
We make our requests to God with faith that He is able to meet our requests. Whether or not God answers our prayers the way that we would like for Him to, His is certainly able to do anything.
We bring our requests to him not only in faith that He can meet them but with faith that regardless of however He answers the prayer (even if the answer is “no”) that He is sovereign and knows what is best for us. We desire His will to be done over our own.
We ask with thanksgiving.
We make our requests known to God by prayer and supplication with a thankful heart. Thankful for previously answered prayers. Thankful that He listens and is capable of answering our prayers. Thankful for all that He has done for us.

Wait and listen
Perhaps you’re waiting for an answer to a request you have been petitioning God for, and have yet to see even a hint of an answer.
The best advice I can give you is; Praise Him anyway! This is a posture of boldness and trust. What you are saying is; “I trust You Lord for the outcome.”
And then you listen and wait expectantly.
“So Eli told Samuel, “Go and lie down, and if he calls you, say, ‘Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.’ ” So Samuel went and lay down in his place.”
1 Samuel 3:9
“In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.”
Psalm 5:3
His answer will come, it may be yes, no or not yet. You can trust Him! He already sees, and knows. He loves you!

When I paint the Lion of Judah, I think about the power and the peace that coexist in Him.
The One who defends, delivers, and restores
- yet still meets us with gentleness and grace.
