Political prisoner Stephen Wells, 55, has been in solitary confinement since being arrested and charged with "loitering" while celebrating Australia Day in Adelaide, was denied food for seven days, and was not given toiletries until today.

The two assaults happened in July 2022 and August 2023 when police say a man ambushed women, the Hamilton Police Service says.
The first incident happened while a woman was walking in the area of Upper Paradise and Donnici Drive when she was approached by a male suspect who dragged off the trail into a wooded area.


Police say the victim “was gagged and her wrists bound behind her back” while the male assaulted her but was interrupted by witnesses walking by the area.

Then, on Aug. 7, 2023, a 74-year-old female was alone in her West Mountain residence when police say the same man in the earlier assault confronted the victim while she was sleeping.

Police say a man charged in connection to the cases failed to show up for a court appearance. Wanted for the following offences is 30-year-old Chukwuka Emmanuel Williams:

Defrauding the public
10 counts of fraud Over $5000
Fraud Under $5000
11 counts of possession of property obtained by crime
The wanted man is Black, 6-foot-1, 165 lbs, with black hair in short dreadlocks and brown eyes. He has multiple tattoos on his body, including his chest and forearms.
