The hallmark case between the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and popular blockchain company Ripple has reportedly been settled, sources familiar with the matter stated.
The lawsuit, which has lasted for more than a year, is rumored to have come to an end with the SEC and Ripple reaching an agreement on what the settlement would be. Per the source, all staff working on the case have been reassigned.According to one of the sources that made the revelation, an official announcement is expected to be made in the coming week.

Terra’s LUNA Looks Poised To Topple Solana After Flipping Ethereum To Become Second-Largest Staked Asset
Terra’s LUNA has pushed past Ethereum to become the second-largest network-staked asset. Stake Rewards data showed that the value of staked LUNA assets on the Terra blockchain had reached $28 billion, over $3 billion more than Ethereum’s $25 billion.
Stake Rewards also indicated that the network has about 226,325 participants in its staking pool, nearly four times more than stakers on Ethereum which has 54,768. Only Solana is ahead of LUNA in terms of staked value with $35 billion in stake value.

Per the results, every third female plans to invest in crypto by the end of the year, while 60% said they will purchase in the next three months.

Shake Shack Inc. is offering the cryptocurrency bitcoin as a reward for purchases made at the burger chain using Cash App, a digital wallet offered by Block Inc. Customers will receive 15% of their purchase back in the form of bitcoin on any Shake Shack purchase made with Cash Card, a debit card available to Cash App users, and by buying items via Cash Boost, a rewards program available to Cash Card members.

Responding to an op-ed in the WaPo Wednesday, Lapan tweeted that the “increase in gas prices will definitely hurt many low income, working Americans.” However, he added, for the rest of American society, “it’s an inconvenience we can handle.”
Lapan went on to urge people stateside to weigh their gripes over the rising gas prices against “what the people of #Ukraine are enduring, and sacrificing, and overcoming.”
