So I'm definitely feeling the effect of missing a dose of my antidepressants a few days ago
Took notes all day on various stuff like HID protocols and then aircraft combat maneuvering
Issue is that my view of how I maneuver is much more energy oriented and instantaneous that how it's learned, although once you completely learn it it'd be better
Like I learned a few good things but I'm lacking using it properly through experience, like I can visualize one circle and 2 circle turns, yo-yos, etc but the difference is that missile weaponry is much much more prevalent and it's not usefull to know if I get shot down before I can use it
That and I don't think in maneuvers like yoyos and stuff it's just "do I have enough kinetic energy to keep my instantaneous turn rate high? How much potential energy do I have? Can I make this turn more shallow so I can use my thrust to gain energy? How much energy does the enemy have? What is the max flight envelope of the enemy, are there others nearby? What direction should I turn? Like those are going through my head
Although I did learn alot of good stuff, the universal ACM "egg" exactly how the lift, gravity, and thrust vectors maneuver the plane in a turn, many terms like instantaneous turn rate and what it means in relation to other terms, turn circles, bubbles, area of control, offensive ACM, defensive ACM, etc which will be very useful in future games
