Friendly reminder chevron has oil wells hidden all over LA, some of which are abandoned and not sealed and release deadly chemicals into the air (usually in lower income communities since they can't afford to sue) children have almost died and have had severe, long-lasting injuries from the fumes

In an LA high school, there was a structure called the "tower of hope" which turned out to be an oil pump when it caught fire

Chevron held the biggest American lawsuit in history, when a lawyer tried to sue chevron for the damages caused to citizens from the result of oil spills, chevron instead sued the lawyer for 40b due to public damages. Chevron then managed to hold americas first "private trail" with no jury and sentenced the lawyer to prison and made sure he could never leave the country again.
