I think today I am going to attempt to build a recycler for all the plastic bottles I use, in theory it should be simple, I remember seeing a yt channel make a makeshift rope from bottles using a simple setup with a razor, my soldering iron has an attachable heat gun that I can set to a specific temperature, I will either use my old broken hot end from my 3d printer or mill a small aluminum block and drill out a 2mm hole into the end of one of my nozzles and mount it all on a wooden plank, it needs to be hot enough to melt the plastic into a U or a C shape to form filament but not so hot that it can't be pulled put of the nozzle as a solid
It should be leagues cheaper than the buyable ones which use repurposed 3d printers and then I'll basically have infinite plastic to work with since I drink so much chocolate milk, diet sweet tea , and water bottles all in these plastic jugs, I've have to had thrown away like atleast a full ton of plastic by this point my only worry is my printers capabilities as it's highest temperature is only for ABS
