So on my families late 90s miter saw that isn't used anymore I took the whole thing apart because the blade was not square and there was like 10 thou of play in it, the spindle for the arbor's bearing is shot like I can wobble it with my hands and supprisingly a 3rd party replacement part for the whole spindle is just 11 dollars which is a crazy steal and I'm very glad, I also like cleaned the shit out of every part and then put plastic restorer on all the plastic which is also all ABS which is good to know for mounting future modifications since you only need acetone to melt and fuse ABS parts together

Ngl ABS seems even more recyclable than PLA, you just use a solvent to melt it and it can be turned into anything you want again compared to PLA (WHICH ISNT ACTUALLY BIODEGRADABLE BTW) which requires specific heating conditions and industrial enzymes to "biodegrade" also most recycling companies don't even accept PLA I just have a box of the shit of all my supports and failed prints just sitting in my room and I can't do anything with it

Oh I also just got an ad for straight up "Israel" on the tv yesterday, it stated that the Middle East wants to basically destroy Christians and that Iran has "placed terrorist sleeper cells all over the US" and how is real is the only middle eastern country that "supports freedom of religion" (not true)

I love it when I take a shower to like end my day kinda and then midway through it my brains just like "yeah it'd be so fun to go outside and start working again like fuck you! I was getting dizzy when I stand up and getting very tired and wanting to go to bed and now it's like "oh yeah never mind teehee" I get it I just ate dinner but why can't that energy be used for tomorrow not when the sun goes down and everyone's going to sleep

I rebuilt one of my crappy tables today so I can have something actually flat to use the table saw or the forge on, I think ima make a small stand for the table saw though + points if I can make it so it collapses when being stored too
