The Story of Our Lady of Lourdes
On December 8, 1854, Pope Pius IX proclaimed the dogma of the Immaculate Conception in the apostolic constitution Ineffabilis Deus. A little more than three years later, on February 11, 1858, a young lady appeared to Bernadette Soubirous. This began a series of visions. During the apparition on March 25, the lady identified herself with the words: “I am the Immaculate Conception.”
Bernadette was a sickly child of poor parents. Their practice of the Catholic faith was scarcely more than lukewarm. Bernadette could pray the Our Father, the Hail Mary and the Creed. She also knew the prayer of the Miraculous Medal: “O Mary conceived without sin.”
During interrogations Bernadette gave an account of what she saw. It was “something white in the shape of a girl.” She used the word aquero, a dialect term meaning “this thing.” It was “a pretty young girl with a rosary over her arm.” Her white robe was encircled by a blue girdle. She wore a white veil. There was a yellow rose on each foot. A rosary was in her hand. Bernadette was also impressed by the fact that the lady did not use the informal form of address (tu), but the polite form (vous). The humble virgin appeared to a humble girl and treated her with dignity.
Through that humble girl, Mary revitalized and continues to revitalize the faith of millions of people.

St Valentine was a Catholic priest, who in times of persecution of Catholics during the Roman empire, he risked his life to marry Catholic couples.
I recommend listening very carefully to this conference: it might help lots of people overcome a threat to our Faith, which is sloth.

“You’re wearing daddy’s pants!” Felicity exclaimed (😂) one day back in December that I randomly decided to put pants on after not having done so for 8 months (let’s just say I promptly put my dress back on).
I don’t have anything very profound to say. To be honest, the experience hasn’t been overly profound to me in general. I have always loved to wear skirts and dresses, so that probably made the transition easier and a little more natural for me (than for someone whose norm it might be to only wear dresses on Sundays/special occasions, for example). One day I just grabbed all my pairs of jeans and decided to sell them along with the rest of the things I was selling in my shop that week (ok, all but one pair I’m resisting letting go of for, you know, that ONE instance where I will just absolutely need jeans 😆).
My decision was motivated predominantly by three things: femininity, comfort, and modesty (in ascending order of importance).
| It feels good to feel feminine. To highlight in some way, simply and externally, the difference between man and woman and the inherent beauty of that.
| Dresses are sooo much more comfortable than pants, which constrict the entirety of your legs. Not to mention how wonderful it feels to not have a waistband/button digging into your stomach or waist when you sit down?!
| And modesty. Maybe you don’t care about it, but if you do, even just a little, it is worth pondering the way in which many pants (and especially leggings) hug our bodies so closely and reveal a lot - including some of the most feminine and intimate parts of us.
If you’ve ever considered it or are curious at all, I urge you to just try it! Three days. A week or two if you’re really feeling adventurous. Maybe it won’t impact you in any life-altering way or become a long-term way of dressing, but I believe it’s worth trying and paying attention to how it makes you feel and maybe any thoughts it might make you have. And I’ll be here if you have any questions or need any help! 💛

When people say "being a stay at home mom isn't a job" they don't think through what they're saying. Women can destroy society by being absent mothers, and we're seeing how society is nowadays since the sexual revolution and the so called "liberation of women"

It is in this tough time that we need to pray for Ukraine and Russia. Leaving politics aside, people have lost their lives, and who knows in which situation their souls were. Let's pray for the cease of fire, the souls of those who have passed, and the conversion of those who are alive.

Although following these instructions sometimes proves to be vital, some pieces of clothes can be washed without following the instructions in the label. It's not a live or die matter. Regardless, you should always check the materials before making any decisions.
