This is an event that will not be forgotten. As much as one would like to boil in rage and fling names and accusations, in this moment if uncertainty all one can do is pray.
Pray for the History, for the Culture, for the significance and beauty of this Church, and for all that has been lost in her destruction.
Prepare for the upcoming days of struggle and pain, prepare to take back what has been ripped from us in this tragic event.

🤡 Imagine living in a world where it takes the burning of a significant historical monument for the media to notice an attack on your religion. Can't help but wonder what the reaction from the media would've been if these were Synagogues being burned for the past few months.

The beautiful Northern Rose Window of Notre Dame, surround by char and ruin has survived the fire that ripped through the church yesterday. This windows, displayed the Virgin Mary and Christ child in Majesty, surrounded by Prophets and Saints.
Perhaps this is an omen: engulphed in fire and flames, where all seems lost, Christ, blessed Mother Mary, along the men and women, the Saints and Prophets who have developed our culture, our ways of life, and our Church, unscathed by destruction, remain - and will forever remain.
