The FOMC meeting was a buy the news event, but BTC got rejected at resistance today, and another lower high was formed. Still, getting a lot more optimistic about this - ever since yesterday, Chinese selling pressure is gone. No more bearish anticipation of the FED raising rates anytime soon.

The first higher high (currently $49500) will be the reversal signal - falling wedge breakout and 4h cloud entry.

Consolidating at cloud's edge, just as mentioned in the previous post. If it breaks down, the support is at $48700 - 4h kijun, daily tenkan. Can't really trade here - if you sell now, you're risking to get chopped up, selling low and rebuying higher for as long as the range lasts.

The 4h cloud didn't hold, but right here's a far more significant support. Another test of the HTF demand zone. Already posted in the dining room a few hours ago - pretty sure the bottom's here. China loses access to centralized exchanges on Dec 31st, only a day from now - this is the last chance to cash out to yuan for the Chinese nationals without a foreign bank account. In one day their selling pressure will be gone, and this will probably get front-ran. SP500 is at all time highs, BTC remains a risk-on asset. Only a matter of time until it catches up to stocks.
