Just weeks after launch, @CopernicusEU Sentinel‑6B has reached orbit and delivered its first data, revealing sea‑level variations in the North Atlantic and showing the Gulf Stream current in detail.

What you’re seeing: the coloured lines combine measurements from both Sentinel‑6 satellites’ altimeters on 26 November 2025. They show sea level relative to a long‑term average: red marks higher‑than‑usual levels, while blue marks lower‑than‑usual values.
