Now, no matter which topic, to the question made by a veterinarian "do people open a video and comment without watching it, based just on the post noscript?". For those who don't speak english, he simply saying that what she complained was clearly said in the video!
The answer is YES. We cannot demonstrate that for videos, because it's hard to track such things and who is watching that ..., but in the last 5 years we ran multiple social behaviour experiments to analyse people behaviour, no matter if the subreddit has 20 mio or 1 mio or 400k or 20k. No matter if about kid based subreddits or more adult oriented subreddits. We tested all such things, and not just with Reddit, but on multiple socials and obviously we compared to what people are doing with other posts. In such case is not precise, because if we don't post the post, we cannot get fully stats about what people are doing.
We used multiple methods to track that. Obviously this is not done by all people, but many persons!
So in conclusion: before starting to comment things you need to verify informations, check the sources, read the full posts or watch the videos. Only after that you can comment.

Putin speech, in part correct, because the main issue of most people now is having such 0% of 100% approach by wanting a change in the next 24h! This is not realistic at all, BUT we don't need to use this as an excuse for doing nothing, by giving priority just to money and our daily habits (that we don't want to change)

This is the sad reality of our planet. Most people just want to believe the shit they want to believe, even if you prove with facts the opposite. This researcher is saying that for climate change, but in reality this happens for all aspects of their lifes, from their social network usage, to nutrition, to their behaviour when disasters happen, to their social pression behaviour changes, to their shopping behaviour to ...
Almost everyone is thinking to be an expert in every field, by knowing how to use / search / etc. something, when the reality is the whole opposite, and for example stats related to social network behaviours / usage / etc. we shared multiple times in the past with various our brands confirm that, especially since we track what it's happening on all socials on almost all topics and languages, by doing various test on people social behaviour too. Even now with AI everyone is thinking to be an expert, when ... (we don't talk about that now).
Their shopping behaviour is nothing better, just impulsive without using the brain and proper shopping strategies. Stats show such impulsive behaviour too.
Would be time that people start to think to the future (even when they buy something ...) by looking things from various perspectives, so like researchers and pro users are doing, instead of checking all that with a tube in front of their eyes. Obviously by comparing things properly or using that with properly strategies. And yes, even by verifying informations before they get shared to someone other.
