‘How to make your own medicinal oils, tinctures & edibles’

The series has been inspired by the quote from Lao Tzu~
‘Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day.
Teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime’

The workshops aim to give our community the skills & the confidence to take care of their own basic health & well being with natural &/or easily accessible products that can be bought or grown

The initial workshop will be in the Castlemaine area & the address & directions will be given to people who book on the morning of the workshop

Community means coming together and putting ourselves in an uncomfortable situation to help out another person. We are not all born with privilege and access. I have a young Mother who has been abandoned by her family and is facing homelessness as the landlord is evicting her from her rental that she has had for years to build a new complex. Her child is not with her at the moment as she is special needs and has alternative care arrangements. But I am looking for someone in our community to extend this amazing ex-Early Educator free accommodation for 3-6 months while I work with her to reunite her with her daughter and get her to a place of safety and self-empowerment. Many of us freeze under trauma and we really need to be with each other in these moments of terror. If you have some privilege and access I invite you to reach out. This beautiful Mother is a gentle and intelligent lady that has found herself in very tough times 🙏
