I’m researching the Indiana Economic Development Corporation created and chaired by Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb.

Indiana launched the Regional Economic Acceleration and Development Initiative (READI), a bold, transformational initiative that will dedicate $500 million in state appropriations to promote strategic investments that will make Indiana a magnet for talent and economic growth.  
Through this initiative, the state will encourage neighboring counties, cities and towns to partner to create a shared vision for their future, mapping out the programs, initiatives and projects that are critical for them to retain talent today and attract the workforce of tomorrow.
READI is expected to attract at least $2 billion of local public, private and philanthropic match funding that will propel investment in Indiana’s quality of place, quality of life and quality of opportunity.

The local initiative is named “Evansville Regional Economic Partnership” , board members include Mayor Lloyd Winnecke , VANDERBURGH County Commissioner Cheryl Musgrave and appointees from abutting Counties.

There are several regions throughout the State. Attached is a map of the regions.

The State sponsored program has its own “private” Foundation too, which is outside our control. The significant “stakeholders” are large corporate donors including Centerpoint energy.

There are many layers to the structure and I’ll link the World Economic Forum to the City of Evansville and the local projects completed, planned, and under construction in a future post.

In the meantime, familiarize yourself with the Indiana Economic Development Corporation. Side Note: Brad Chambers, the coordinator of this program is running for Indiana Governor.

The building is controlled by an unidentified LLC of investors. Try asking questions of the local area planning commission. “It is a fund inside of a non-profit…The Maui fund is within the Entertainment Industry Foundation…When you go to the fund’s website they’re saying that they’re going to give $1,200 for each adult…The president of the non-profit that manages this fund is making over $400,000/year.” So, the IRS Form 990 is public record, it identifies the salaries and expenses of the Foundations.

So the Evansville Foundation should have this filed document. It should tell how much Ely Martin, the Foundation Director is making.....and how much Chris Kiefer's wife is making..... The Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation is blocking access to the public records of this Foundation.
