A lawsuit has been filed against the Indiana election commission and Secretary of State, Diego Morales. Here’s the details and link.
John Rust, who announced a run for U.S. Senate against U.S. Rep. Jim Banks in the 2024 Republican primary, filed a lawsuit Tuesday asking a judge to declare an Indiana law that would prevent him from getting on voting ballots unconstitutional.
Rust told IndyStar Tuesday he hopes the lawsuits allows Hoosiers that identify with their party to run for office without following requirements in Indiana statute on political party affiliation.
According to the statute, a candidate’s past two primary elections must be cast with the party the candidate is affiliated with or a county party chair must sign off on a candidate to run. Sen. Jon Ford (R-Terre Haute) announced Friday he is leaving the state Senate next month, less than a year into a new four-year term.
Ford is the fourth lawmaker to announce their resignation since the 2023 legislative session ended in April, joining Ann Vermilion, Randy Frye and Chip Perfect.
Ford said he is leaving the General Assembly to pursue “new professional endeavors.” In a statement, he said serving in the legislature has been one of the greatest honors of his life.
The Terre Haute legislator has been in the Senate since 2014 and was elected to a new term last November. A private Republican caucus will choose his replacement in the coming weeks.

If you’re looking for specific government information, filing a request for Open Records can often lead you to the answers you seek. For our first Call to Action (CTA), we’re encouraging all Open Records newbies to try filing a request.
If you’ve filed ORRs or FOIAs in the past, then you get a pass on this first CTA 😀. But, if you haven’t, we highly encourage you to take a few minutes and flex your Open Record Request muscles. Citizen engagement is essential for good government. Don’t be a spectator, get in the game!
Be sure to check out the Quick References section, featuring links that will take you directly to databases of state specific rules, sample letters, and federal guidelines for FOIAs. (We also came across the DOJ’s list of FOIA exclusions, which is a really interesting read.)
If you don’t have a question in mind, here are some ideas:
• Submit a request to your local election administrator or secretary of state asking for digital copies of all election complaints filed from January 1, 2020 to present.
• Submit a request to your city council asking for digital copies of annual budgets.

Wisconsin Republicans have introduced Articles of Impeachment against Election Administrator Meagan Wolfe, citing multiple violations of election laws & maladministration during the 2020 election
Article 5 cites a very important fact in the 2020 election where Meagan Wolfe enabled voting in nursing homes across Wisconsin without Special Voting Deputies as required by law. This resulted in massive fraud occurring in nursing homes with some reporting over 100% voter turnout (makes sense right?)
"Several authorities, including the Racine County Sheriff's Department, the Racine County District Attorney, Wisconsin's Legislative Audit Bureau (LAB), and the Wisconsin Assembly's Special Counsel to Investigate the 2020 presidential election, all reached the conclusion that WEC violated Wisconsin election law each time it permitted absentee voting in long-term care facilities without requiring the presence of at least two special voting deputies."

There has been an increase in Haitian shoppers at my business. I’m forming a relationship and asking more questions on each visit. There is one person that communicates in English and the others speak creole.
I took a photo of the license plate of the truck 🛻 and researching the ownership. They are paying cash and using a community debit card. The God is Good Foundation on Barker Avenue, Evansville is sponsoring 56 families this year and 75 next year. The money is coming from Federal and State grants. There are other local agencies assisting immigrants, either legal or illegal.
The attached article identifies an influx of Haitians flying into Miami and dispersing throughout the US.
Legal immigration is the American way, supporting the immigrants through sponsoring families, not government subsidies. The system is broken and the Federal Government is complicit with creating this invasion.
The Haitian shopper and I discussed the Clinton Foundation and their opinion about the organization. Whoa!!! My independent research supports his first hand experience.
