So the Evansville VANDERBURGH School Corporation, in its support of DEI (Diversity Equity and Inclusion), and to be compliant with the Department of Education’s requirements, creates programs to be financially rewarded.
EVSC have allowed Reitz High School, on the westside of Evansville, to foster a Gay and Straight Alliance social club. So what’s it all about?
The “teacher” coordinating the club at Reitz High School is married to an employee of the Children’s Museum of Evansville. (CMOE). Both men are supportive of nurturing the gay agenda.
The current Evansville Mayor, Stephanie Terry was the former Executive Director of CMOE, that oversaw the culture of the Children’s museum. All in the name of DEI.
A current Evansville VANDERBURGH School Corporation board member is an employee at the Children’s Museum of Evansville that condones the social club as well.
The Evansville Foundation, the not-for-profit organization of the Evansville VANDERBURGH School Corporation awarded the teacher for his innovative and inclusive program; imagine that. A board of 31 unelected officials determining the policies of a public owned school.

You all need to take your emotions out of this. This is the number one thing that is causing all the confusion. You will not be able to understand anything until you do that. Because the only result of that is disappointment.

Evansville - Regional Economic Partnership CEO Lloyd Winnecke and former Mayor of Evansville discusses the 50 mile Ohio Riverfront project.
The idea of “improvements” of the riverfront to spur development appears to be a “good thing” right?
In the video, Winnecke explains the project. I attended public events at the Pagoda to observe the plan and to ask questions.
Reminder this is a project coordinated by the public/private partnership established by soon to be former Indiana Governor Holcomb’s Indiana Economic Development Corporation. Who owns this Corporation? The taxpayers funded this program through reallocation of public funds and private donations of large Corporations. That elusive public/private partnership, or aptly named Fascism when the government officials are also the private entity.
The plan is to obtain the riverfront property through the governmental process of imminent domain and present it to Corporations owned by special interest or foreign ownership. Private ownership will be non-existent.
Look at the funding and ownership of the new apartment complex at the corner of Weinbach and Lincoln Avenue; who owns it? where is the financing being provided? This is an E-REP project.
The Mississippi River farmland abutting the river is rapidly being purchased by Chinese investment firms. The same issues will occur along the Ohio River Basin.
I’m curious what financial interest Winnecke has in the Ohio River project being created by Holcomb’s Indiana Economic Development Corporation?

Shoulders says his resignation from County Commission will be effective Friday, January 26, 2024.
According to a release, Shoulders will be accepting a different position in the private sector.
Shoulders’ new position has not yet been released, but he says he and his family are “excited for and look forward to the next chapter,” of his career.
He was initially elected into the Vanderburgh County Commission seat back in 2016 and again in 2020.
