San Francisco Appoints First Noncitizen to Serve on Elections Commission
The newest member of the San Francisco Elections Commission, a seven-member civilian body that oversees and creates policy for the city’s Department of Elections, isn’t legally allowed to vote.
Kelly Wong, an immigrant rights advocate, is believed to be the first noncitizen appointed to the commission. At a swearing-in ceremony administered by Board of Supervisors President Aaron Peskin on Wednesday at San Francisco City Hall, dozens of people gathered to commemorate the occasion.
Wong said she hopes her appointment is a beacon of hope for other immigrants living in the city.

The makers of a cheap beer marketed to working-class Americans decided they would hire Dylan Mulvaney, the guy who pretends to be a woman and prances around talking about bubble baths and shopping binges, to be its spokesman. What Anheuser Busch, Bud Light’s parent company, discovered was the economic power of the vast majority of Americans who reject the absurd leftist ideology being pushed on them by this country’s self-appointed “elite.” The people in your boardroom may think “preferred pronouns” are all the rage, but out in the real world most Americans think that’s all a bunch of nonsense.
New York City may be about to learn the same lesson.
New York Attorney General Letitia James, whose office brought the case, said that with pre-judgment interest, the judgment totals over $450 million.
Essentially, New York claimed that Trump was inflating the value of assets he owned in order to secure loans fraudulently. None of the banks involved complained. None of the people with whom Trump did business complained. None of this mattered. New York cooked up a case against Trump for obvious political purposes, and a kangaroo court produced a predictable and absurd result.
All over the country, we are seeing the same kind of tactics in use. Leftist ideologues have turned the justice system against their political opponents and are using it to destroy them. The unstated premise here is that conservatives will continue to demonstrate respect for the rule of law and governmental institutions and allow themselves to be picked off one by one as we trundle down the road toward tyranny
That premise is looking increasingly flawed.

The head of the Vanderburgh County Republican Party says he fully supports Amy Canterbury as a candidate for County Commissioner.
Chairman Mike Duckworth says he signed off on Canterbury’s candidacy for the District 3 seat, even though she voted on the Democratic ballot in the 2022 Primary.
The State Form CAN - 1 is the document to contest eligibility of a candidate. Let it be known, in addition to Jason Gerteisen filing a complaint against Canterbury outlined in the attached article, two additional separate CAN - 1’s have been filed against Canterbury by registered Republican voters.
Interestingly additional challenges have been filed against John Hahn, in Perry Township, he has filed as a Republican Delegate with a Democrat voting history. His wife Jill Hahn is President of the VANDERBURGH County Council and a registered Republican. Perhaps, Duckworth has approved of this violation. The Election Board hearing will expose the facts.
Another challenge is Democrat Rivera Maytes, a former Evansville City Council member that has filed as a Republican candidate for Precinct Committeeman and State Delegate and her husband Chinno Rivera, a registered Democrat, has filed as a Republican State Delegate. New Warrick Co. Animal Control Supervisor stepping down
Warrick County leaders are already looking for a new supervisor for animal control.
At the end of January, commissioners named Dave Ruckoldt the head of Warrick County Animal Control.
That’s after the supervisor before him, Danielle Barnes, was arrested.
Rucholdt was appointed at the start of the year, but it wasn’t announced until about three weeks ago.
On Friday, County Council President Brad Overton told us the supervisor position at animal control was once again posted.
After 14 News broke the news about Ruckoldt’s departure, a county employee approached our team who said they had concerns about the way Ruckoldt had been running the shelter.
‘It definitely appears, its going right back in the direction that we have worked so hard to bring to light and correct,” said the county employee who asked to remain anonymous.
The employee says no one working at animal control since January has had a license to administer drugs to the animals.

Mr Boatman, a VANDERBURGH registered voter is attempting to remove Chinno Rivera from the Republican ballot for State Delegate.
The alleged violation: Mr Chinno Rivera is a DEMOCRAT attempting to be on the REPUBLICAN ballot.
