Warrick County employees receive confidentiality agreements.
The Boonville City Attorney says some Warrick County employees have been asked to sign confidentiality agreements. This is something he says doesn’t make a lot of sense for public employees.
Each of the three Warrick County commissioners is under investigation for misconduct. The Boonville City Attorney says the timing of that makes it a little concerning that some employees were asked to sign non-disclosure agreements.
The documents say that employees can’t share “confidential or proprietary” information to other people either directly or indirectly, without first getting written authorization from “Warrick County Government management.”
The attorney says that he isn’t aware of what “Warrick County Government management” is referring to, and it could mean the Warrick County Commissioners. The document says that breaking the agreement could result in being fired, as well as any civil or criminal penalties.
He says he’s never seen anything like this, especially for a public entity.

The US pressing sanctions on developing countries is making them cut ties with the dollar and look for alternative avenues.
BRICS is filling in the void and helping other developing nations to survive without using the US dollar for trade. Sanctions might prove costly to the US as the world is looking at de-dollarization to strengthen its local currencies and native economies.

On the campaign trail for governor, former Secretary of Commerce Brad Chambers talks about his experience as a business leader who can grow Indiana’s economy. After all, he is the founder and CEO of Buckingham Companies, which boasts of managing more than $3 billion in real estate with hundreds of employees across nine states.
But back home in Indianapolis, Chambers’ real estate company did not follow through on its end of a landmark agreement made with the city — missing a deadline to pay back the city not just once, but twice.
It stems from a deal struck during the administration of former Republican Mayor Greg Ballard. In 2011, the city agreed to issue nearly $100 million in bonds and then immediately loan the $86 million in proceeds to Chambers’ company to create CityWay on the southeast side of downtown.
Chambers is the “Indiana Economic Development Corporation” That elusive public/private partnership with Taxpayers money. When the government is the developer; it’s Fascism. Holcomb is the current Indiana governor and the CEO of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation. The subsidiary is E-REP overseen by former Evansville mayor, Lloyd Winnecke. Today, Lasher works as a target validation manager with the Science Based Targets initiative, a London-based corporate climate action organization that enables companies and financial institutions worldwide to play their part in combating the climate crisis.
